The View's Sunny Hostin recounts co-host Joy Behar's 'psychotic' behavior from shopping trip on 'Behind the Table' podcast
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View' co-host Sunny Hostin joined executive producer Brain Teta for the January 23 episode of 'Behind the Table' podcast.
During the conversation, the 56-year-old humorously called out Joy Behar, 81, over her strange behavior while recounting a shopping trip, as reported by The US Sun.

What did Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar get up to?
Hostin began by talking about a shopping strategy she shared with Behar while they were browsing at a sample sale. She apparently encouraged her co-host to go through clothing items that people did not want and had left behind from the dressing rooms to seek out the best stuff.
Once the idea was explained to Behar, she took it a bit too seriously, and apparently ended up "stalking" a woman for a red coat she had her eye on. The actions of the 81-year-old host, who became "really into" seeking out the bargain finds, were described as "psychotic" by Hostin.
Hostin noted, "(Behar) is really into it. In kind of a psycho way, if I'm being honest. It's really strange because she's not only shopping for herself, she's shopping for (her husband) Steve, she's shopping for her daughter. Like, I'm kind of selfish."
Subsequently, Teta noted how Behar had regularly talked about her newfound love of sample sales around the studio, to which Hostin added, "And every day she's like, 'Where's the next sample sale?' It's not that easy. It's word of mouth most of the time."

Interestingly, Hostin had taken to Instagram on January 20 to share a photo of her outing with Behar. The two were seen in all smiles while inside the store, looking dolled up for the day out.
Behar rocked a black outfit, with heavy eyeliner, rose rosy pink lipstick, and her reddish-brown hair flowing in loose waves. On the other hand, Hostin sported a denim top, a well-touched-up face, and curly brown locks half-up in a ponytail.
Hostin captioned her post, "Did someone say sample sale?"
Fans have loved the fun camaraderie outside the set of the morning show, as one commented, "Oooo!! Sounds like a good time!!"
"Oh the giggles you two shared during this outing 🤭❤️🤭❤️🤭❤️," stated another, while a person added, "...it's the smile for me."
