LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has taken a bizarre turn, with some internet trolls attempting to cash in on the drama by setting up fundraiser pages for the rappers on GoFundMe. However, the popular fundraising platform quickly shut down these pages.

The feud between Drake and Lamar intensified recently after Lamar released his song 'Not Like Us', taking aim at Drake and accusing him of grooming younger girls. Drake fired back with his diss track, 'The Heart Part 6', strictly denying Lamar's allegations.

Adding to the drama, a shooting incident occurred outside Drake's Toronto mansion, leaving fans concerned. This incident unfolded amid the ongoing feud between Drake and Lamar, further shocking internet users when news spread that a security guard had been shot in the altercation.

GoFundMe takes down fake fundraiser pages of Drake and Kendrick Lamar

According to TMZ, numerous individuals reportedly tried to earn some financial gain from the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar by setting up fake GoFundMe pages. But GoFundMe quickly shut down all these pages before anyone could donate any bucks.

A GoFundMe spokesperson told TMZ they're keeping a close watch on their platform for any new fundraisers related to the Drake and Lamar situation.



 

They emphasized, "will remove any that have not been authorized by the recipient of the funds. $0 has been raised."

TMZ also mentioned the names of these fake fundraisers, which were 'Support Kendrick Lamar's Studio Time for the Ultimate Diss T', 'Join the Love Fund for Drake's Send-Off', and 'RIP Drake(champagnepapi): Fans Unite in Grief'.

The amounts they were asking for on these fundraiser pages ranged from $10,000 to a whopping $616,000, as per TMZ.

Internet users assert beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar is getting old

A user on Facebook wrote, "The entertaining part of whatever this is is that people give a 💩."

Another user wrote, "Drake fans remind me of Trump fans straight delusional."

A user commented, "This beef is getting old. how old are they..??? 🥴 it was funny in the beginning now it’s 🥱😴."

Another user commented, "Just the way his fans are acting shows a lot. These people are in attack mode over a made-up beef. More upset than the guys participating. 😂"

A user stated, "Seriously grow up already!"
