Internet backs Drake as he hits back at Kendrick Lamar’s accusations with ‘The Heart Part 6’ diss track
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There seems no end to the feud between rappers Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Following Kendrick Lamar's fourth diss track against the Canadian rapper, titled 'Not Like Us', Drake upped the ante by releasing 'The Heart Part 6' on Sunday, May 5, evening.
The song's title is a reference to Lamar's 2022 track 'The Heart Part 5'. The rappers have simultaneously released diss tracks where they have leveled serious allegations of abuse, addiction, grooming, and having a hidden child, against each other.
However, these are mere allegations and there is no evidence of any of the allegations leveled against either rapper.
What did Drake say in 'The Heart Part 6'?
In the track, the Canadian rapper mainly denies Lamar’s claims on previous diss songs that he pursued underage women, a claim that has long plagued the rapper and recently resurfaced with the beef.
Drake took to his X account, and wrote, "The Heart Part 6 out now And we know you’re dropping 6 mins after so instead of posting my address you have a lot to address."

In the track, the singer raps, "I never been with no one underage, but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with."
"Just for clarity, I feel disgusted / I’m too respected / If I was f**k young girls, I promise I done been arrested / I’m way too famous for the s**t you just suggested, but that’s not the lesson / Clearly there’s a deeper message / Deep cuts that never healed and now they got infected.”
Drake then mentions Whitney Alford, Lamar's fiancee, and Millie Bobby Brown, with whom he had a text conversation when the actress was just 14 years old.
“I’m your baby momma’s screensaver / Only f**k with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns / I’d never look twice at no teenager / I’m a f**king’ hitmaker dog, not a peacemaker.”
By the sounds of it, it seems like Drake is tiring of this red-hot beef. “I don’t wanna diss you anymore, this really got me second-guessing,” he raps.
In the spoken-word outro, he says, “I’m not gonna lie, this s**t was some good exercise. It’s good to get out, get the pen working.”
According to Stereogum, Drake says his camp fed Lamar false information about having a daughter, a subject that Lamar rapped about on the Friday, May 3 night, release of 'Meet the Grahams'. Additionally, Drake suggests that Lamar and Alford are not close, and he supports an earlier assertion that Lamar's longstanding collaborator and creative partner Dave Free is the father of one of his children.
On Friday morning, Lamar released '6:16 in LA' title quite similar to many of Drake’s tracks. Drake followed later that night with 'Family Matters' and Lamar very shortly after dropped 'Meet the Grahams' that featured verses directed towards various members of Drake’s family.
Then, on Saturday, May 4, Lamar went to another level by releasing another diss titled 'Not Like Us,' which doubled down on allegations that Drake pursued underage girls.
What did Kendrick Lamar say about Drake in 'Not Like Us'?
'Not Like Us' showcases Lamar adopting a humorously exaggerated Southern accent as he kicks off with a whispered "Pssst: I see dead people" before delving into a string of pointed jabs at Drake.
Lamar's lyrical attack at Drake begins with some contentious remarks on the Canadian rapper's relationships with younger women.
“Say Drake, I hear you like ‘em young / You better not have to go to Cell Block One,” he sings before trolling Drake using his 2021 album " 'Certified Lover Boy’? Certified pedophile” and then concluding that segment with a musical pun: “Why you trolllin’ like a b***h, ain’t you tired? Trying to strike a chord, and it’s probably a-minor.”
“You run to Atlanta when you need a few dollars/ You not a colleague, you a fuckin’ colonizer/ The family matter, and the truth of the matter/ It was God’s Plan to show you’re a liar.” Lamar rapped in the track with another reference at Drake's songs. Lamar's song fades out with the rapper leading a female chorus chanting “O-vee-ho” — a play on the 'Tootsie Slide'm rapper's company, OVO.
