LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Khloe Kardashian and her sister Kourtney Kardashian have revealed why they are “banned” from giving speeches at their family functions.

As Kourtney was present at Target to launch her wellness brand Lemme, she was asked to deliver a speech. The mother-of-four shared on her Instagram Stories that she “gave up giving speech” after a certain incident, per Us Weekly.

Kourtney took to her social media to hilariously post, “I gave up giving speeches after @khloekardashian and I gave a drunken speech together at @kimkardashian’s second wedding and somehow here I am…”

Kim Kardashian’s second marriage was with Kris Humphries whom she wedded in 2011. The marriage, which ended Kourtney and Khloe’s oratory career, however, lasted only 72 days.

Following the Poosh founder's post, Khloe too backed her sister in the story. However, the ‘Good American’ founder tweaked the story slightly as she corrected that they never “gave up,” but rather were “banned” from delivering speeches.

Khloe quipped on her Instagram Story, “This is a true story although [Kourtney] used the word ‘gave up.’”

She continued, “We were BANNED from speeches ever since that wedding. It was not pretty for either one of us but I’m sure mostly every person in attendance enjoyed our speech that evening.”

“I vote to Bring Kourt and Kokes speeches back!” she concluded hilariously by asking, “Who’s with me.”

Kourtney later shared a screenshot of Khloe's post writing, "Oops we were BANNED!"

Khloe Kardashian previously talked about her speech ban

This is, however, not the first time that Khloe is talking about getting "banned" from giving speeches. After failing to make a toast at Kim Kardashian's nuptials with Kanye West, the youngest Kardashian sister shared Kim did not allow her to speak.

Appearing on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' in 2014, Khloe shared, "I did get banned from speaking at Kim and Kanye's wedding," before explaining, "I tend to just ramble, and I think I'm giving a compliment, but maybe I'm not saying the right thing."

"So at the wedding Kim was like, 'Well, you can't give a speech'," shared the reality TV star, per Glamour.

Kourtney Kardashian talks about Lemme

Kourtney, though said that she gave up giving speeches during Lemme's event at Target, was gushing as she discussed her brand while talking to the news outlets.

Talking about the event, Kourtney shared with WWD, “When our team was like, ‘Let’s celebrate having Lemme at Target,’ they proposed really cute restaurants and I was like, ‘Oh no, we have to have breakfast at Target..'”

She continued, “No one’s ever had a breakfast at Target.…Just to be able to go sit in the middle of Target with a long dining table with my closest friends and family is so fun.”

She continued to gush about her brand and said, “Target has exceeded all of our expectations. Early on, we had so many stock-outs due to the overwhelming demand."

She added, “It was such a learning experience as far as how much we need to keep in stock and what people are excited about.”
