LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tim McGraw is facing a challenging chapter in his life as serious health problems continue to affect his career.

Concerns are growing among his close friends and family that he might never fully recover if he doesn’t take time to heal.

The star was recently scheduled to perform at the Professional Bull Riders' Last Cowboy Standing event at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado, but he was reportedly in “too much pain” to go forward.

Tim McGraw had already stepped back from a Netflix bull-riding series due to the same health problems, which have been mounting over the past few years.

"He's battered his body for so long with his relentless touring schedule and hellish workouts that he can't stand up straight at this point," an insider told RadarOnline.

"Tim is a perfectionist. He can't just go all the way – he must go above and beyond. He's obsessed with being the best, and sadly, it has wreaked havoc on his middle-aged bones," added the insider.

The singer reportedly sustained injuries during his 'Standing Room Only' tour last year, which only worsened his condition.

"I can tell you that after double knee replacements and three back surgeries, and now a torn rotator cuff and a ruptured disc, all the things that are going on, there were times this year that I thought this might be it," Tim McGraw shared on the TL's 'Road House' podcast in May.

"This might be time to hang it up," he said.

Despite his determination to stay fit, McGraw says every move he makes now requires careful thought and preparation.

"I can't move quickly," said the country star. "Everything has to be very intentional; everything that I do has to be very methodical. I have to do cold plunges, I have to do infrared saunas, I have to do massages."
