LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Todd Chrisley recently discussed how his 19-year-old son, Grayson, reacted when he and his wife, Julie, returned home from prison after their presidential pardons.
The reality TV couple was found guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans in 2022, according to the Independent.
However, the White House confirmed the couple’s full pardons in May, and President Donald Trump signed them shortly after being sentenced to prison and appealing their case.
Todd Chrisley reveals his son Grayson wanted to sleep with him and his wife Julie in their bedroom
The family appeared on 'My View With Lara Trump' on Saturday, June 28, and Todd revealed that his 19-year-old son asked to sleep in their bedroom the first night of their prison release.
Todd said, "He came in and he said, 'Can I sleep with you tonight?'” and he added, "I said, 'You can'."
Interestingly, Todd and Julie also share son Chase, 29, daughters Savannah, 27, and Chloe, 12, who is the biological daughter of Todd's eldest son, Kyle, 33, from an earlier marriage, per the outlet.
Savannah told the Fox News host, "The first night [Grayson] said, 'I’m scared to go to sleep because I feel like I’m just going to wake up in the morning and they’re not going to be here'."
Moreover, she talked about being Grayson’s caregiver while Todd and Julie spent nearly two years in federal facilities in Florida and Kentucky.
She said, "Grayson's always said, 'I have two moms', because we’re nine years apart. And so we’ve always been attached to the hip. He's taught me more than any person in the world ever could the past two and a half years."
"He thought I saved him when in reality he saved me … going through this together has been such a whirlwind," Savannah added.
Grayson Chrisley says he is grateful that his family is no longer separated
The 19-year-old also chimed in during the interview and acknowledged how grateful he was that his family was no longer separated.
He said, "[The best part] is really just being together. I mean, you take those times for granted when they are home, and then when you realize one day it could be there and the next day it’s not, you know, it means just a little bit more."
Todd and Julie, the multimillionaire couple whose show 'Chrisley Knows Best' ran from 2014 to 2023, served prison sentences after being convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022, per the outlet.
Moreover, prosecutors said the couple walked away from their responsibility for repayment when Todd declared bankruptcy.
The couple was also found guilty of tax evasion and conspiring to defraud the IRS, whereas Julie was convicted of wire fraud and obstruction of justice.
Savannah Chrisley debunks claims her mom Julie faked breast cancer
Earlier in June, Savannah Chrisley debunked claims that her mother, Julie, faked breast cancer to avoid court proceedings during the latest episode of her 'Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley' podcast, the Daily Mail reported.
She said on the podcast, which was filmed before her parents' prison release, "I feel like it's been a long time since we've done a solo podcast. And there's just so many things to catch you up on. So I'm gonna try to go about it in the best way possible. But before I do, I really want to address something."

Moreover, she added that she realized she had to talk about it when she picked up coffee earlier that morning and was scrolling through social media while she waited for her order, according to People.
"I saw where someone commented that, you know, my family was this fraud and were terrible human beings, X Y Z, and how my mother faked her breast cancer diagnosis," she said during the podcast.
Savannah added, "So I was literally dumbfounded to see the accusations that were being made. 'Apparently, she faked her breast cancer diagnosis to avoid court proceedings,' was what this individual said. And let's take it back."
"She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. They weren't federally or criminally charged till 2019. So that right there completely debunks your whole theory," she further added.
