Tom Brady denies any involvement in ex Gisele Bundchen's split from fitness trainer BF over Netflix roast
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: According to reports, NFL icon Tom Brady has declined to accept accountability for his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen's recent breakup with her jiu-jitsu trainer boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, 34.
Some have maintained that Brady's recent Netflix roast placed unnecessary more pressure on Gisele's romance, as an insider revealed to InTouch Weekly that Valente felt the "spotlight was too much" after the roast.
Since April, Gisele, 43, and her jiu-jitsu trainer boyfriend have not been spotted together in pictures, which has led to rumors that they have separated.
Tom Brady took 'no blame' over shocking breakup, claims source
According to sources close to the former NFL quarterback, Brady, 46, allegedly took "no blame" for the shocking breakup, following reports that Gisele and Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach Valente split earlier this week.
"Tom feels like he should take no blame for Gisele's relationship successes or struggles. He is away from it and isn't trying to sabotage anything," a source revealed to Daily Mail.
Additionally, the sources claimed that holding Brady responsible for Gisele and Valente's breakup was a "cop out," particularly in light of the seven-time Super Bowl champion's most recent Netflix special 'The Roast of Tom Brady.'
The source added, "He needs to live his life and coparent and get to a place with Gisele that is healthy and happy."
"It serves him nothing to try to harm or disrupt any type of relationship she ever has. He doesn't feel he should be blamed at all."
"At the end of the day, everyone is an adult and you're going to have to deal with relationships, whether they go good or bad by taking it day by day," the insider continued.
"You can't blame others for what might not be working, it is a cop-out to put the blame on Tom."
The Vogue model and Valente were reported to have called it quits earlier due to his struggles with their affair becoming so widely publicized following the one-off event, which featured a vulgar allusion to the Brazilian fitness trainer.
Gisele Bundchen was reportedly 'stressed' before Tom Brady's Netflix special
According to the source, Gisele was "stressed" well in advance of Brady's Netflix roast, as the couple battled to keep their romance going while Valente dealt with life in the spotlight.
It's reported that Gisele and Valente had been attempting to sort things out for "a long time." However, it was eventually revealed that Valente "struggled with the attention on them."
"Gisele has been stressed for a long time trying to make it work with Joaquim, and as time has gone by he has struggled with the attention on them," the source said.
They added, "He expected some – but people talking about how he ruined a marriage and everything else that was mentioned on the Roast has profoundly affected him."
"There is a strain on the relationship. If they want it back, it will take some time to make work again."
On Thursday, June 13, InTouch Weekly revealed that Gisele was back on the single scene following a year of dating.
According to a source with knowledge of Gisele and Valente's year-long romance, the Brazilian fitness instructor felt that "the spotlight was too much" and that he was uncomfortable "becoming part of the joke."
"The spotlight was too much for him. Joaquim's a regular guy. He's not used to all the attention he was getting," the source spilled.
"Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that."
Furthermore, Gisele supposedly believed that her romance would have been more solidified if her ex-husband had not carried out the roasting.
"She blames the break on Tom," the insider continued. "By agreeing to do the roast, he basically put a target on Joaquim's back."
The NFL star was made fun of for both his divorce from Gisele and his professional career in the Netflix special 'The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady', which aired on May 5.
