MILTON, FLORIDA: NFL legend Tom Brady has announced his contribution towards ongoing relief efforts amid Hurricane Milton.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion shared over social media that the donation will help provide essentials, including food, water, and first aid to residents in the Florida state.

What did Tom Brady say about Hurricane Milton?

Hurricane Milton was declared a Category 5 hurricane on Monday, October 7, in the Gulf of Mexico, reports Bleacher Report.

"In the wake of Hurricane Milton, I'll be making a donation of $100k to help get essentials like food, water and first aid to fellow Floridians in need," Tom Brady wrote on Instagram.

He continued, "My friends at gopuff are matching this, along with all other donations made via 'Give With Gopuff', all benefiting the Volunteer Florida Foundation." 

The NFL icon further said, "Keep those impacted by these storms in your prayers, look out for your neighbors, and continue to help out anyway you're able. Stay safe, and stay strong Florida."

It is believed that Hurricane Milton could still affect some parts of Florida's Gulf Coast due to flooding.

Internet quickly acknowledged the Patriots' legend playing his part in helping Hurricane Milton's victims.
