Tom Cruise trying to get 'inside dirt' on ex Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek's feud, claims source

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Cruise's interest in the recent feud between his ex Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek could turn out to be a matter of concern for the actor, an insider close to Cruise said.

Kidman and Hayek briefly clashed during a Balenciaga event in October in front of Katy Perry and the photographers. However, the two have since tried to downplay the situation, per In Touch Weekly.

The source informed In Touch Weekly, "He’s always been a huge fan of Salma and is incredibly grateful for the support she showed him after his breakup with Nicole."

The insider added that Cruise maintains a very hectic work schedule but still "keeps up with Hollywood news a lot more than he lets on," and the recent interaction between Kidman and Hayek caught his attention.

The insider further noted that the 'Mission Impossible' star is playing a dangerous game by trying to get the 'inside dirt' as it is going to get back to Nicole, and anything he says about her will trigger an avalanche from her.

“If he’s not careful she will go on the attack and at this point in her life she’s not afraid to take the gloves off.”

However, Cruise is still "poking his nose into the matter and discussing it with his contacts, trying to get the inside dirt and guessing it’s his ex-wife who’s to blame."
