Tracy Morgan reveals cause of health scare during Knicks vs Heat game: 'I'm doing OK now'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Tracy Morgan sparked concern at Monday night's New York Knicks game after suddenly vomiting courtside at Madison Square Garden.
The 56-year-old '30 Rock' star was attended to by medical staff before being wheeled away during the first half of the game against the Miami Heat.

Tracy Morgan confirms food poisoning as cause of health scare
The game was briefly paused for approximately ten minutes as officials ensured the area was cleaned and Morgan was properly assisted, according to Daily Mail.
The Knicks went on to secure a 116-95 victory.
On Tuesday, March 18, Morgan took to Instagram from his hospital bed, reassuring fans that he was recovering. “Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning," he shared.
"Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!” Morgan wrote.
In his usual comedic style, he added, “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”

Tracy Morgan's medical history raises initial concerns
Tracy Morgan’s sudden illness sparked worry among fans, especially given his long medical history.
The comedian has been living with diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. In 2014, he survived a near-fatal car accident that left him in a coma for eight days, according to Daily Mail.
Images shared by spectators showed Morgan looking visibly distressed as he was escorted out with a towel over his face.
Reports also suggested that he was seen with blood coming from his nose.
A representative for Madison Square Garden later told People magazine, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.”

Just days before the incident, Tracy Morgan attended the ninth annual LOVE ROCKS NYC benefit concert at Beacon Theatre and appeared to be in good spirits.
He was also a presenter at 'SNL50: The Homecoming Concert' in February.
Morgan, a devoted Knicks fan and frequent attendee at games, has had a long and successful career in comedy.
