Travis Kelce reveals never having a 'dry spell' when it comes to romantic relationships
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who has been in the public eye for his relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift, brought his characteristic openness to the exchange.
The revealing conversation took place on a bonus episode of the 'New Heights' podcast, hosted by Travis and his older brother Jason Kelce.
The fan, a man in his mid-50s, called in with a question that was both earnest and intimate. He explained that he was struggling with a “dry spell” in his marriage, driven by his wife’s recent disinterest in intimacy.
Seeking advice, he hoped Travis' charisma might come with some tips for bringing back the spark.
Though Travis, 35, has only recently entered the media spotlight as Swift’s boyfriend, he didn’t shy away from addressing the question. Instead, he admitted that he’d never experienced the same issue.
“I will personally mention that I have no idea what that’s (like),” he told the caller, adding that he couldn’t exactly relate.
Jason, his brother and co-host, jumped in to agree that the fan’s predicament was challenging. However, undeterred by his lack of firsthand experience, Kelce proceeded to offer his best advice.
Travis Kelce doesn't hold back from suggesting ways to restore intimacy in marriage
Though Travis Kelce admitted he had never dealt with a romantic slump, he didn’t hold back from suggesting ways the fan might restore intimacy in his marriage.
He encouraged the caller to embrace classic romantic gestures and creativity to reignite passion. “Maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic,” Kelce suggested.
He continued with more suggestions: “Maybe you just gotta rekindle that flame or something, get that thing going. Take her to a nice restaurant.”
Drawing from his understanding of romance, Kelce expressed empathy for the caller’s situation, adding, “These are all things that I would try and do just based off what I heard. That’s tough, man.”
Jason, a retired Philadelphia Eagles player, also joined the conversation with his perspective. He offered insight into why the caller’s wife might be less interested in intimacy, stating that women are often more complex in terms of desire and attraction.

“Women, they’re weird. They don’t just always want to have sex,” Jason remarked, providing his take. “I don’t know why, they don’t operate on the same wavelength as us. Women like to be sought after.”
Jason expanded on the topic with a few personal pointers, suggesting that the fan makes an effort to show appreciation and affection through “acts of service” for his wife.
He also humorously added that perhaps wearing “tight pants” could be a playful way to grab her attention, quipping, “I don’t know what you’ve been blessed with.”
To lighten the mood, the brothers turned to some more playful suggestions. From role-playing to watching a movie featuring the caller’s wife’s celebrity crush, Travis and Jason brought levity to the discussion while still offering practical advice.
“Go to Spencer’s and get some f*****g sex stuff, man, I don’t know,” Travis joked, referencing the popular novelty store known for its playful, adult-themed products.
The exchange ended with laughter, as both brothers encouraged the caller to explore new ways to connect with his wife.
