Travis Kelce desires The Rock’s level of fame and hopes to be actor soon amid romance with Taylor Swift

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce had a desire to get as famous as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and his business managers, André and Aaron Eanes, did everything to get it fulfilled.

The Eanes recently sat down for an interview with The New York Times in which they spoke about a 2022 incident.

The trio was driving around Los Angeles when Kelce saw a poster of The Rock and told them, “Man, I don’t think I’ll ever be as famous as the Rock.” Recalling the episode, André said, “We’re like, Yes, you can.”

Now, as everyone knows, Kelce is everywhere as he has done seven national television commercials, launched a clothing line with his team members, hosted Saturday Night Live, as well as he now co-hosts a podcast with his brother, Jason.

All of this happened amid his blooming romance with Taylor Swift, which was not his managers’ plan but has uplifted the NFL star’s image.

‘We positioned Travis to be world famous’

Aaron told the publication, “People say to me, ‘Man, it’s been a crazy year.’ When I say, ‘Actually, it’s not that crazy,’ people look at me funny. It’s because it’s easy when you have a plan. We’re executing that plan.”

André added, “We positioned Travis to be world famous. We didn’t know how it would happen, or when it would happen, or what would help push that further along. But it’s always been the thought in the back of our minds.”

Besides, it has been reported that now the 34-year-old athlete’s team consists of a community outreach coordinator, a personal chef, a creative strategist, a personal chef, a trainer, and a Los Angeles-based publicist. Kelce’s growing popularity has resulted in him being managed by four football agents and Mike Simon at VMG Sports led it.

He is also associated with Creative Artists Agency, hoping to try his luck in films soon. Tom Young, C.A.A.’s co-head of sports media, reportedly added, “Decision makers and those folks that are meant to be visionary about who’s the next potential movie star, those folks had already tapped into Travis even coming out of ‘Saturday Night Live.’ And probably before.”

However, people on the internet did not seem kind toward Kelce and his desires as an X user tweeted, “Sheesh, there should be a punishment to those people for unleashing Kelce on us. He’s insufferable.”

“Well I didn’t hear about him until after he was attached to Taylor Swift,” another user commented.

The third one remarked, “What if he's just using T Swift to get famous?”

The fourth user added, “me thinks he got a little ahead of himself...and it explains why his play on the field this year has not been up to par. He has been distracted. The pursuit of fame is one thing. Deserving fame is quite another. He confused the two... He will be dumped by Taylor Swift...and then?”
