Travis Kelce's new mustache look goes viral and Taylor Swift's fans have a lot to say about it

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce captured the attention of Swifties as he was seen sporting a fresh look at Kansas City Chiefs training camp.

He has been making headlines alongside his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, who is currently touring in London, Germany, and other locations as part of her blockbuster Eras Tour.

Kelce's return to the field follows the Chiefs' victory in their second consecutive Super Bowl in February, marking the team's third championship in five years.

The 34-year-old football star showed up at training camp with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates sporting the fan-favorite mustache look on Sunday, July 21.

According to Chief's website, he arrived at Missouri Western State University in St Joseph for the open practices, which are scheduled to continue through August 15. The team will also face the Jacksonville Jaguars in their preseason opener on August 10.

The 2024-2025 season kicks off on September 5, with the Chiefs playing against the Baltimore Ravens.

Photos and videos shared by the Chiefs captured the tight end walking down a path and greeting fans. "Thanks for coming out today, guys," said Kelce to the crowd.

The team's post featured the caption celebrating the tight end's new look: "KILLA STACHE IS BACK 👨🏻."

Many of Kelce's teammates were also seen interacting with fans at the training camp, as shared on the Chiefs' Instagram Stories. Mecole Hardman Jr, Patrick Mahomes, and Justyn Ross were also spotted at the training camp.

One video showed Mahomes throwing a football to his beloved friend Kelce.

He also shared a laugh at fellow quarterback Carson Wentz, who nearly tripped on a turf path. "Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me," joked Mahomes, encouraging the camera person to "post" the moment.

Travis Kelce's fans were happy to see him rocking a mustache, but some Swifties were unsure if Taylor Swift would like it.

One wrote, "Love the return of Killa Stache! 👨🏻🔥 Looks like he's ready to make an impact again!" Another fan said, "Look like he's ready to go in hard."

A person compared him to a policeman, while someone else commented, "Love his new look, he looks younger without the beard!!" 

Another person gushed, "Haha, the legend returns! The man, the myth, the beard - Killa Stache is back and ready to slay. Can't wait to see what kind of chaos he brings this time around." 

A Swiftie remarked, "Looks like he's rocking the 1989 look," whereas one more added, "There's no way Taylor is okay with this!!!!"

On Instagram, one wrote, "Taylor done took all this man's auro and swag away what happened to the fade," while another fan joked, "So glad Taylor told him not shave the head."
