NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: E Jean Carroll, once a columnist for Elle, reveled in her significant $83.3 million defamation win against Donald Trump.

The celebration took place at the renowned Flower Shop bar, a popular spot in New York's Lower-East Side.

Here, Carroll was the star of a high-profile party hosted by MSNBC's Molly Jong-Fast.

The occasion brought together a host of prominent media personalities who lauded Carroll as an "icon." However, the online community expressed concerns, predicting, "It will not end well."

Who were the attendees at Jean Carroll's NYC party?

Among those who paid tribute at the party were Lawrence O'Donnell, Jong-Fast's colleague at MSNBC, Marci Klein, a former producer for Saturday Night Live, Lydia Polgreen, an opinion writer for the New York Times, and Sarah Ellison of the Washington Post.

"She seemed delighted and vindicated. She was in awe and victorious," one guest stated. Another person noted, "She looked like a hero. It's great to see women winning the day," per Daily Mail.

The former president, on the other hand, has started the process of hiring new lawyers and has expressed his intent to appeal against the award from Friday, which he labeled as "absolutely ridiculous."

Jean Carroll, aged 80, has reportedly vowed to allocate the money towards causes that "Donald Trump hates". This comes as the former president has started the process of interviewing lawyers for his appeal.

The staggering amount awarded was more than triple what her own lawyers had requested, following a jury in a Manhattan courthouse agreeing that Trump had defamed her by denying her sexual assault allegations from 1996.

As O'Donnell left for the party, he speculated that Trump could be on his way to "bankruptcy", with further civil suits related to the events of January 6 and his New York fraud trial potentially costing him up to $1 billion.

Alina Habba, the defense attorney for Trump, might be in search of a new position as the former president has started reaching out to law firms to spearhead his appeal, mentioned the outlet.

While one attendee playfully suggested that Carroll could "buy the bar", the event has sparked a wave of criticism on social media, with many cautioning that her celebrations might be premature.

Social media users have swiftly responded, criticizing her and suggesting that things may not end favorably for Jean Carroll.

A user took to X, formally known as Twitter, shared a video of Carroll seemingly exiting a building surrounded by cameras. As she was getting into her car, they asked her, "How do you feel?".

The user mentioned, "I can pretty much guarantee this will not end the way she thinks it's going to. It will not end well."

Another user added, "she's lapping up the attention though."

"FRAUD," remarked a person.

"That whole circus has to be part of the movie!" noted another.

"How very cinematic… just like a movie," mentioned one individual.

"E. Jean Crazy will be in debt & not get a dime from President Trump," stated another person.

Another person said, "Wow, enough money can make her forget anything. Just look at those SMILES!"

"No words," stated another.
