WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald J. Trump has officially ignited a dual-front global energy war, ordering the United States Navy to begin an immediate and total blockade of the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, April 14.

The sensational move follows the spectacular collapse of peace negotiations in Islamabad, where the Iranian regime refused to surrender its nuclear stockpile.

Labeling Iran’s maritime tactics as "WORLD EXTORTION," Trump vowed that the US military is "Locked and Loaded" to finish what remains of the regime's economic influence.

Simultaneously, the President has turned his fire toward Europe, launching a blistering attack on the United Kingdom for its refusal to open the North Sea oil fields.

As global energy markets go into a tailspin, Trump is demanding that the UK government abandon environmental "windmills" and adopt a "Drill, Baby, Drill" mandate to counter soaring prices triggered by the naval blockade.

Navy interdicts ‘illegal’ Iranian oil tolls

The blockade is being enforced with absolute authority by the US Central Command.

President Trump has instructed the Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in international waters paying "illegal tolls" to Tehran, effectively severing Iran's economic lifeline.

"No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas," Trump stressed, vowing to dismantle the extortion system that has funded Iran's nuclear pursuit.

The President further confirmed that US forces have begun destroying mines laid by Iran in the straits, warning that any Iranian who fires at peaceful vessels will be "BLOWN TO HELL!"

With the Iranian Navy and Air Force already largely "obliterated," the administration is using the blockade as a final lever to force a 100% concession on nuclear enrichment and regional security.

Trump blasts ‘tragic’ British energy refusal

While the Navy clears the straits, the President is pressuring America's closest ally to ramp up fossil fuel production.

Trump noted that while Aberdeen should be "booming," the UK is instead paying double for Norwegian oil, a situation he characterized as "tragic" and "absolutely crazy."

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and U.S. President Donald Trump shake hands at a joint press conference in the East Room at the White House on February 27, 2025 in Washington, DC. Starmer is on his first visit to Washington since President Trump returned to the White House. Starmer's trip comes shortly after he announced an increase in UK defense spending, ostensibly as a signal to Trump that the UK is prepared to bolster Europe's security, and as he aims to broker a fair peace deal for Ukraine amid Trump's warming relations with Russia. He lambasted the UK government for its reliance on energy imports while sitting on one of the greatest oil fields in the world.

"UK should, DRILL, BABY, DRILL!!!" Trump proclaimed, demanding an end to the reliance on "windmills" that he claims have weakened Europe's energy security during this crisis.

This pressure comes as North Sea oil prices hit record highs, driven by the global scramble to secure physical shipments amid the total shutdown of Iranian maritime routes.

Global markets face ‘lethal’ energy reset

The simultaneous blockade and the pressure on British energy production represent a total "Reset" of the global energy order. President Trump maintained that "Leaders of Countries, especially the United States of America, will never be extorted."

By choking off Iranian supply while demanding a British production surge, the administration is attempting to force a total collapse of the Iranian economy while protecting US interests.

The White House remains focused on its "impartial" blockade, maintaining that the US military will not allow the world to be held hostage by Iranian nuclear ambitions.

As the April 21 ceasefire deadline approaches, the President has made it clear that the "Steel Ring" around the straits is just the beginning of a much larger lethal enforcement phase.
