PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former president Donald Trump raised questions about his participation in the ABC News presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, which is scheduled to be held next month.

The GOP presidential nominee took to his Truth Social platform on Sunday, August 25, whining about the outlet's Trump haters panel and host Jonathan Karl's interview of Republican Sen Tom Cotton on 'This Week'.

"I watched ABC FAKE NEWS this morning, both lightweight reporter Jonathan Carl's (K?) ridiculous and biased interview of Tom Cotton (who was fantastic!), and their so-called Panel of Trump Haters, and I ask, why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network?" Trump asked.

Donald Trump suggests panel would give questions to Kamala Harris beforehand

Donald Trump claimed Kamala Harris might get the questions in advance, citing how 'This Week' panelist Donna Brazile gave the town hall questions to Hillary Clinton beforehand during the 2016 primary race.

The real estate mogul further cast doubt on whether George Stephanopoulos, who faces a defamation lawsuit from him, would be a part of the ABC debate.

"They've got a lot of questions to answer!!!" the ex-president wrote. "Why did Harris turn down Fox, NBC, CBS, and even CNN? Stay tuned!!!"

Trump, who had a successful face-off against his former opponent, President Joe Biden, agreed to a September 10 debate with the sitting vice president hosted by ABC News. After Harris replaced Biden in the race, Trump was initially reluctant to participate.

Both sides agreed to take part in the September 10 debate later. Though the MAGA spearhead urged his opponent for more debates on Fox News and NBC News to be held the same month, Harris' campaign refused, saying she would only be part of the ABC News event before deciding on a potential second debate.

September 10 debate will be held in Philadelphia, moderated by ABC News' David Muir and Linsey Davis, as per The Hill.
