WASHINGTON, DC: Former president Donald Trump claimed Jewish people would be held responsible if he lost the election in November.

The GOP presidential nominee's shocking remarks came while addressing the audience at the Israeli-American Council in Washington, DC, on Thursday, September 19.

Trump asserted the "Jewish people would have a lot to do with a loss" because he had only 40% support from the bloc," according to Mediaite.

However, the latest poll conducted by the Jewish Democratic Council of America says only 25% of Jews supported Trump, while 72% backed Vice President Kamala Harris.

Donald Trump complains about unfair treatment from Jewish voters

Donald Trump substantiated his plan to blame the Jews in the event of his loss to Kamala Harris, claiming he was not treated fairly by them despite his zealous support to Israel.

"I really haven't been treated right. But you haven't been treated right because you're putting yourself in great danger. And the United States hasn't been treated right," the real estate mogul said. He further remarked that he was right about a lot of things, including good and bad, even when others said it would not happen.

Trump then claimed, insisting it was not a prediction but an opinion that Jewish people would be responsible if he was defeated in November as he had only the support of 40% of them.

"That means 60% are voting for Kamala, who in particular is a bad Democrat. The Democrats are bad to Israel. Very bad," he added. "They’ll never change because they have a section of their party now which has become amazingly and quickly very powerful vote-wise."

Trump also attacked the highest-ranking Jewish official, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, calling him "a Palestinian."

"Schumer is Hamas all the way," the MAGA leader continued.

However, this is not the first time Trump targeted Democartic-leaning Jews.

In May, while President Joe Biden was his opponent, he whined that any Jew who votes for Democrats or his successor "have to have their head examined." In July, a week after Harris took over the campaign from Biden, Trump repeated the same statement.

Donald Trump faces backlash for claiming blame would go to Jews if he loses the election

Donald Trump's attempt to hold Jews as the scapegoat if he loses in November sparked outrage on social media. Netizens called out the ex-president's bullying and nonstop whining.

"Basically signaling to his supporters who to go after if he loses. Sickening," a user wrote.

"It’s always about him. He could care less about these people," another added.

"@realDonaldTrump you are so decisive, disgraceful and such a sore loser!" read one response.

"What the hell is wrong with him? He is either even more stupid than I thought or is trying to lose on purpose," said a user.

"All he has is hatred and petty grievances. He is not for America or Americans," someone else remarked.

"Is this how you win over voters? By bullying them, threatening them?" an individual asked.

"Omg he’s pathetic. How does anybody see him as a president?" another user wrote.

"He. Never. Stops. Whining The most aggrieved trust fund baby that ever lived," read one remark.
