WASHINGTON, D.C: At this year’s White House Easter Egg Roll President Donald Trump shared a surprisingly down-to-earth pearl of wisdom to a newly engaged couple.

Reportedly, the annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn brought thousands to the presidential residence on April 21 among which was Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene's new beau Brian Glenn.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and boyfriend Brian Glenn seek marriage tips from Trump

As President Trump moved through the crowd, shaking hands and greeting attendees, he found himself in a light-hearted moment that quickly went viral.

Real America’s Voice White House correspondent Brian Glenn, the "reporter" in the Oval Office screeching about President Volodymyr Zelenskyy not wearing a suit, asked the president for advice on marriage on behalf of the newly weds.

The question came on the heels of another cheerful introduction, when One America News journalist Daniel Baldwin introduced his fiancee, Monica Luisi, a White House reporter for Turning Point USA, as per Daily Mail.

“Nice to see you, sir, how are you?” Baldwin said. “This is my beautiful fiance.”

Glenn, standing beside them, asked, “Do you have any advice for the newly engaged couple?”

With his signature serious-yet-playful delivery, President Trump responded, “Make sure you like each other. If you don’t, don’t get married,” he said, before flashing a grin and moving on to the next group.

The sweet moment was captured and posted by Monica Paige on X with the caption, “It’s not every day you get marriage advice from the President!”

Trump goes viral after dishing out marriage advice

It didn’t take long for the clip to make waves across social media. especially among MAGA supporters.

One viewer shared, "This is so funny-Trump giving marriage advice!!!!! You couldn’t make this stuff up!"

Another wrote, "Says the man who has been divorced multiple times."

A different viewer pointed out, "He doesn’t know what a long lasting marriage is since he is working on his third. I suggest this poor couple seek marriage advice elsewhere."

A follower commented, "Asking Trump for marriage advice is like taking boating lessons from the captain of the Titanic."

One opinion stated, "Yikes. I'd not take advice from a guy who's on marriage #3, especially if he's likely the root cause of the marriages unraveling. Furthermore, his advice is something everyone already knows."

Another individual observed, "Thrice married, serial cheater...yeah that's who I want to take marriage advice from."

As someone explained, "Wonder how that couple suppressed their laughter. That's rich coming from that Convicted Felon."

Daniel Baldwin and Monica Luisi's 2024 engagement

Glenn's question comes as the couple's engagement, which took place in late 2024 in Washington, DC, had already drawn congratulations from top conservative figures.

As per Daily Mail, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt commented on Luisi's engagement post in December, “Oh my gosh! Congratulations you two!”

Kari Lake, former Arizona gubernatorial candidate and now senior advisor for the US Agency for Global Media, also weighed in, saying, “Congratulations Daniel! You are definitely an ultra MAGA catch!”

Despite his reputation for bluster, President Trump showed his softer side at the event, especially with first lady Melania Trump by his side.

Melania played a key role in organizing the day’s festivities and was seen walking hand-in-hand with the president throughout the event.

Cameras also caught a sweet moment when Trump leaned in and gave her a gentle peck on the cheek.

The couple’s warm interaction was seen by many as a rare public display of affection.
