Trump promises ‘truckloads’ of proof alleging 2020 election was rigged: 'We have all the ammunition'

WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Sunday, December 14, claimed that Democrats “rigged” the 2020 presidential election, saying that his administration possesses overwhelming evidence that will eventually be made public.

“We have all the ammunition, all the stuff, and you’ll see it come out,” Trump said while hosting a Christmas reception at the White House. “It’s coming out in truckloads.”

The remarks came during a festive gathering where Trump repeated allegations about the election he lost to then Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

Trump calls Democrats ‘professionals at cheating’

Trump accused Democrats of systematically manipulating elections, describing them as “professionals at cheating,” and said the 2020 outcome made that clear.

He has repeatedly asserted that widespread fraud cost him the reelection four years ago. “You’ll see it,” he said, offering no details on when it would be released.

Trump says his 2024 strategy was ‘too big to rig’

Trump contrasted 2020 with his successful 2024 campaign, in which he defeated Vice President Kamala Harris after Biden exited the race following a widely criticized debate performance.

“I said, ‘Go out and vote! You gotta go out and vote and make it too big to rig,’” Trump recalled, describing what he said was his core strategy heading into Election Day.

He has repeatedly characterized his 2024 victory as overwhelming, pointing to wins across swing states, the popular vote and the Electoral College, and arguing that the margin left no room for manipulation.

“We won in 2024 with an election that was too big to rig. We won every swing state. We won the popular vote. We won the Electoral College. We won 2,750 districts to 525. When you look at the map, it’s all red except for a couple of blue stripes,” he said

Trump claimed Republicans won historic support among Hispanic voters, including along the Texas border.



During his speech Trump also spoke about the inflation in Biden era.

"We inherited a mess from Biden. We now have inflation is totally neutralized. We had more people working on Friday than at any time in the history of our country. Wages have gone up more than inflation, first time that's happened in many years," he said. 

Trump’s continued insistence that the 2020 election was stolen has carried serious legal consequences.

In 2023, he was indicted on multiple federal charges related to efforts to overturn the election results, including allegations tied to attempts to pressure officials and interfere with the certification of the vote.

Both cases were dropped after Trump won the 2024 election, in line with long-standing Justice Department policy barring the prosecution of a sitting president.

The investigations were led by special counsel Jack Smith, who recently announced he was launching a new law firm alongside several former Justice Department colleagues.
