Trump says he’s ‘on it’ after Scott Adams pleads for prostate cancer treatment help
WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump said he is stepping in to help save the life of Dilbert comic strip creator Scott Adams after he publicly pleaded for assistance from the president.
During a May episode of his YouTube show 'Real Coffee with Scott Adams,' the cartoonist revealed that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had spread to his bones.

Trump steps in to help cancer-stricken Scott Adams
Scott Adams, an avid supporter of President Donald Trump, wrote on X that he would ask the president for help in receiving a treatment that could “give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer.”
“On Monday, I will ask President Trump, via X, to help save my life. He offered to help me if I needed it. I need it. As many of you know, I have metastasized prostate cancer,” Adams wrote on X.
He added, “My healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, has approved my application to receive a newly FDA-approved drug called Pluvicto. But they have dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I can’t seem to fix that. I am declining fast. I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer. It is not a cure, but it does give good results to many people,” the Dilbert creator concluded.

During his first term, he signed the 'Right to Try Act,' allowing terminally ill patients to access drug therapies not yet fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
Scott Adams shares prostate cancer battle and prognosis
On May 19, Scott Adams announced that he had been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer and was given only months to live.
He revealed during a YouTube livestream that former President Joe Biden’s diagnosis of an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that had spread to his bones prompted him to share his own.
“I have the same cancer that Joe Biden has. I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones, but I've had it longer than he's had it, well longer than he's admitted having it,” Adams said. He added, “I expect to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer.”
At the time, Adams described his condition as “intolerable,” saying he had been using a walker for months and was “always in pain” that was spreading to different parts of his body.
He shared that his morning show was the only activity he still managed to do each day, and he intended to continue it for as long as possible. “If you're wondering if I'll get better, the answer is no, it will only get worse. There's only one direction this goes now,” Adams said in May.
