WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump has renewed sharp attacks against Representative Ilhan Omar, declaring that she “should be thrown the hell out of our country” and insisting she “shouldn’t even be allowed in Congress,” also calling her “garbage” and “a terrible person.”

The remarks, which have stirred controversy and sparked widespread condemnation, were made during a public appearance and have since circulated widely online.

Trump escalates attacks on Ilhan Omar, calls Somalia 'not even a nation'

In the segment, which circulated widely across social media, President Donald Trump claimed that allowing Representative Ilhan Omar to remain in Congress posed a threat to America’s national security and cultural identity. He framed his comments as a warning meant to protect American citizens from such a “threat.”

“I wouldn’t be proud to have the largest Somalian; look at their nation. Look how bad their nation is. It’s not even a nation. It’s just people walking around killing each other,” said President Trump.

“She shouldn’t be allowed to be a congresswoman, and I’m sure people are looking at that. And she should be thrown the hell out of our country,” ranted Trump.

Trump slams Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as ‘incompetent’

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump took questions from reporters in the Oval Office, and one reporter asked about his remarks regarding Somali immigrants.

“And most of those people, they have destroyed Minnesota, okay? Minnesota, you have an incompetent governor; you have a crooked governor, he’s crooked as hell, but he’s incompetent. [Gov Tim] Walz is, he should be ashamed. That beautiful land, that beautiful state. It’s a hellhole right now,” lashed out Trump.

Trump links Somali immigration to Obama policies in fiery remarks

“So Somalia is considered by many to be the worst country on Earth. I don’t know. I haven’t been there. I won’t be there any time soon. I hope. But what Somalia, what the Somalian people have done to Minnesota, is not even believable. It’s not even believable,” Trump continued.

“And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack Hussein Obama, because that’s when people started coming in, and you have to have people come in that are going to love our country and cherish our country.”

President Trump continued to blame former President Barack Obama and his policies for being too lax on immigration.

The statements stem from long-standing tensions tied to Representative Ilhan Omar’s political positions and background, forming part of a broader pattern of Trump’s attacks on progressive members of Congress, particularly those who have sharply criticized him.

She should not be, and her friends shouldn’t be allowed; frankly, they shouldn’t even be allowed to be congresspeople, okay? They shouldn’t even be allowed to be congresspeople because they don’t represent the interests of our country,” Trump said as he concluded his remarks.
