LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Trump campaign spokesperson Caroline Sunshine made an audacious proposal to the Democratic Party that was promptly rebuffed even by conservative media outlet Newsmax.

Sunshine, who serves as deputy communications director for the Trump campaign, suggested on Wednesday that Democrats should consider "total surrender" due to their supposed inability to replace President Joe Biden with a winning candidate against Trump.

Trump spokesperson Caroline Sunshine calls on Democrats to 'surrender' amid Biden poll concerns

"My advice to the Democrat Party would be total surrender now," Sunshine declared during her appearance on the conservative network.

"You are stuck with Joe Biden at the top of your ticket, and anybody that you can dream of replacing him with cannot beat President Trump, as we just saw in the latest round of polls," she added.

"So my advice would be save yourself millions of dollars, do the right thing for the country and just sit this entire presidential election cycle out."

Newsmax host Rob Finnerty responded with laughter, quipping, "Right, and the American people will vote on November the 5th, and we’ll find out, but I don’t think the Democrats are going to sit this election out."

Similarly, on Fox News, Sunshine drew a similar reaction from anchor Bret Baier when she made the same claim. “Pretty sure that’s not gonna happen,” he told her.

Following Biden's contentious performance in the recent presidential debate with Trump, Democrats have been exploring alternative strategies for the upcoming election.

Some within the party have floated the idea of replacing Biden with a younger candidate to improve their chances against Trump in November.

The comments reflect a spectrum of intense reactions to conservative pundit Sunshine's controversial suggestion for the Democratic Party.

One user wrote, "I actually think trump sent her onto those shows to get a show on the conservative view on their nutbagbifea!"

Another added, "Younger? Hasn't anyone seen How decrepit Trump is? His speeches are rife with nonsensical commentary and lies. And he's 78! Not exactly a spring chicken."

One user commented, "She's more of a joke than Donny Demento. They seriously believe all their own lies."

One user replied, "Bring it on, cupcake, I can hit anything you can throw. "

Another wrote, "Comical clowning. These aren't human beings."
