Kamala Harris calls Donald Trump's violent rhetoric 'disqualifying'

Another woman, Vice President Kamala Harris, also responded to Trump's comment, as per New York Post

“He has increased his violent rhetoric, Donald Trump has, about political opponents and in great detail, in great detail, suggested rifles should be trained on former Rep Liz Cheney,” Harris told reporters during her campaign in Wisconsin.

“This must be disqualifying,” she added. “Anyone who wants to be president of the United States who uses that kind of violent rhetoric is clearly disqualified and unqualified to be president. Representative Cheney is a true patriot who has shown extraordinary courage in putting country above party.”

The press release from the Harris campaign on Friday morning also declared, “Donald Trump sat down with Tucker Carlson in a late-night town hall where he suggested that Republican Liz Cheney should face a firing squad.”

What did Donald Trump tell Tucker Carlson about Liz Cheney?

Trump joined former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in Arizona, where he criticized Cheney and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, accusing them of being overly aggressive in military affairs.

"She's a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay, let's see how she feels about it... You know, when the guns are trained on her face," said Trump, whose comments were perceived by some critics as a threat to subject her to a firing squad.

Trump has intensified his criticism of the Cheneys following Liz Cheney's endorsement of Harris. Previously a prominent figure in the GOP, Cheney was marginalized and removed from Congress by Trump after she opposed his actions regarding the 2020 election - receiving support from her father in her recent political stance.

"I don't blame him for sticking with his daughter. But she's a very dumb individual, very dumb," Trump said - a typically disparaging remarks about women who confront him.

"He had said and done terrible things. But that just made my heart sink," said one.

A woman slammed Trump saying, "This should be on loop being played on every TV channel for the next 5 days for Women to see the One who calls himself the protector of Women."

Other chimed in, "Are you f**king kidding me? He’s threatening to assassinate Liz Cheney."
