Trump says America will have the 'most spectacular birthday party'

The White House posted a video on X, featuring the president talking about 'Freedom 250'. During the video, Trump said that during his candidacy, he had pledged to give America the "most spectacular birthday party the world has ever seen," a promise he said he was delivering with the launch of 'Freedom 250'.

The former Under Secretary of State Keith Krach was named the chief executive officer of 'Freedom 250'.

He spoke about the newly launched initiative and said that 2026 would mark a “celebration” of the nation, unlike anything “we have ever done,” and that he was grateful to Donald Trump for giving him the opportunity to execute his vision.

He added that 'Freedom 250' would “reignite the pioneering spirit” that defined America and would strengthen its foundation for years to come. He said it would give “independence, opportunity, and freedom” by working with different states, businesses, and organizations all over the country.

The organization’s vast network would bring together partners from different sectors, including civic, cultural, education, business, and philanthropy, to honor America’s heritage and to renew “our commitment to the values that define us.”

It also included the federal, state, and local governments, organizations, and other institutions to strengthen “national unity,” and honor the nation's history to inspire the “next chapter of American leadership and innovation.”

Monica Crowley highlights Trump’s ties to 'Freedom 250'

During her appearance on ‘Fox and Friends’ on Thursday, Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley, discussed the newly launched 'Freedom 250'.

She chimed in on the upcoming lineup of events under 'Freedom 250', stating that there was currently a nationwide 'Trial to Independence Tour' being planned.

Crowley said that there were several events lined up for 2026, including the illuminating of the Washington Monument from December 31, 2025, to January 5, 2026.
