PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA: Donald Trump embraced the holiday spirit by taking calls from children and families across the country during NORAD’s annual Santa Tracker program. While participating in the festive tradition, he also delivered a pointed political message, criticizing the “radical left” and claiming they were failing in efforts to “destroy” the country. The message was shared on Truth Social on Thursday, December 25.

Using Christmas as a backdrop, Trump blended holiday greetings with political messaging, focusing on the economy, border security, and law enforcement. His remarks came as he spoke with families tracking Santa’s journey around the world through the North American Aerospace Defense Command’s long-running program.

Trump wished Americans a Merry Christmas while taking aim at his political opponents. He highlighted what he described as major accomplishments under his leadership and framed them as signs of national strength.

In the post, Trump wrote, “Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country, but are failing badly.” He added, “We no longer have Open Borders, Men in Women’s Sports, Transgender for Everyone, or Weak Law Enforcement.”

He also pointed to economic performance, stating, “What we do have is a Record Stock Market and 401K’s, Lowest Crime numbers in decades, No Inflation, and yesterday, a 4.3 GDP, two points better than expected.”

Trump further credited tariffs and national security policies for economic growth and global standing. “Tariffs have given us Trillions of Dollars in Growth and Prosperity, and the strongest National Security we have ever had. We are respected again, perhaps like never before,” he wrote before signing off with, “God Bless America!!! President DJT.”

The president referenced recent economic data to support his claims. Government figures show the US economy grew at an annualized rate of 4.3 percent in the third quarter of 2025, marking its fastest pace in two years. This followed a 3.8 percent growth rate in the second quarter, according to early estimates from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, as cited by Newsmax

Stock markets also reached record highs in late December, with both the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbing amid strong economic data and optimistic investor sentiment.

Inflation data showed the personal consumption expenditures price index rose 2.8 percent in the third quarter. While still above the Federal Reserve’s 2 percent target, the figure signaled slower inflation compared with earlier periods.

Crime data released by the Justice Department and local law enforcement agencies showed declines in several major violent crime categories in 2025, including homicides and robberies. However, final nationwide figures from the FBI have yet to be released.
