Trump's packed schedule with 10-hour workdays belies poor health speculation: Report
WASHINGTON, DC: A newly released report, obtained by Fox News, shows that President Donald Trump has a packed schedule with 10-hour workdays and over 20 meetings daily, amid tight scrutiny from the media over his health and age.
The outlet obtained a copy of Trump's personal schedule since December 1, and it shows that Trump attends back-to-back calls and meetings that often drag into the evening.
Schedule shows Trump begins his day with scheduled calls around 8.30 am
A copy of Trump's schedule shows that the POTUS begins his most scheduled calls and meetings around 8.30 am or 9 am, as his days typically wrap up after 8 pm.
As per the schedule, on Monday, December 1, the POTUS started his day at 8.30 am with a phone call to his Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, followed by a 9.30 am call to House Speaker Mike Johnson, and a 9.35 am call.
Trump then held a series of rapid-fire meetings across 10 minutes with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and Wiles, before going on calls with a member of Congress and a political advisor.
During the day, Trump had 18 other meetings, phone calls, and events, including a bill signing, remarks at a Christmas reception, additional meetings with the Secretary of State, Press Secretary, and his trade team, as per the outlet.
Moreover, Trump's schedule showed that his busiest day so far in December was on December 3, when he attended 32 events, meetings, and phone calls.
He started the day at 9 am with a call to senior staff members and wrapped the day up at 7.30 pm, when he met with a "television personality." Every hour between 9 am and 7.30 pm on December 3 included a scheduled event, meeting, or call.
Trump's longest workday this month was on December 9
Fox News reported that, as per the schedule, Trump's longest work day this month was on Tuesday, December 9, at 13 hours and 9 minutes.
Trump's day started at 9.46 am with a call to a Cabinet secretary, before holding five meetings and a call. He ended the day at 10.55 pm after traveling to Pennsylvania, where he delivered a speech focused on his economic policies.
The POTUS' schedule showed a heightened focus on foreign policy and business, including 11 separate meetings or calls with his secretary of state, eight head-of-state sessions, three meetings with a special envoy, and two with an ambassador, per the outlet.
Moreover, Trump had at least one CEO or business-focused engagement on 10 out of the 12 days so far, including 17 direct CEO calls or meetings, a call with "business leaders", and other events.
Interestingly, one of Trump's lightest days was on Saturday, December 6, which had 5 hours and 51 minutes of scheduled events, including meetings with Kennedy Center leadership and Secret Service leadership, a meeting with the Kennedy Center Honorees, and taking part in the Kennedy Center's Honors Dinner.
