NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Tyreek Hill is not hiding his admiration for President Donald Trump.

As the former Kansas City Chiefs star reached New Orleans to watch Sunday’s Super Bowl, Hill highlighted the remarkable feat his former teammates would achieve when they play in front of the president, who is reportedly attending the match on Sunday, February 9.

Being vocal about the match, Hill - who was released from the Chiefs in 2022 - said that he has always been a supporter of Trump and that playing in front of him was a bucket list moment for many.

As Tyreek Hill’s previous team is set to play at their third straight Super Bowl (this year against the Philadelphia Eagles), the Kansas City-based team stands the chance of being the first NFL team in history to win three Super Bowls in a row.

However, it is not the only aspect of his former team that probably made Hill wish he stayed with the Chiefs, as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s team will be playing in the presence of the 78-year-old GOP leader.

Speaking to Fox at the EA Sports' Madden Bowl at Orpheum Theater on Friday, February 7, Hill reflected on the feat, saying, “That's tremendous. To be able to play in front of Donald Trump, that would be something to knock off the bucket list," per Daily Mail

Hill, who was with the Chiefs from 2016 to 2022 before being traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2022, won one Super Bowl with the Chiefs. The 30-year-old signed a four-year, $120m deal with the Dolphins, with his $72 million guaranteed fee making him the best paid wide receiver in the NFL.

The Dolphins wide receiver further continued in the interview, “Not every day you get to play football in front of the guy who people respect and is at the top of the helm of this country.”

He also did not shy away from showing his admiration for the president, as he noted, “I've always been a fan of Donald Trump, by the way. That'll be awesome.”

Internet thinks Tyreek Hill 'wants a future pardon' as he praises Donald Trump

While Tyreek Hill did not hold back in declaring his love and admiration for the commander-in-chief, several fans were left unimpressed by his bold declaration.

One social media user sarcastically said, "Guess who’s not playing in the superbowl ? Yes, Tyreek Hill."

Someone else, meanwhile, chimed in, "He is the biggest hypocrite. waisting tax payer money. Didn't he want to boycott the NFL."

Another user noted gleefully, "Enjoy watching. TyREEK will never have another ring!"

"Not sure we want this thug/gangsters endorsement," shared another Trump supporter.

Someone else mused referencing previous speculations of domestic violence (previously reported by Miami Herald), "Yeah and he didn't break that arm or beat his women or ignore the cops on a traffic stop, too. Real truthful guy."

Someone else boldly declared, "Tyreek you have DV charges he doesn’t like or support you 😂."

"Bro wants a future pardon," suggested another user.
