NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr, revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer in an emotional social media post shared on Wednesday, May 20.
The 48-year-old described the announcement as a “personal health update” and said she is currently working with doctors on a treatment plan following a recent medical procedure. The disclosure quickly drew attention online, with supporters and public figures offering messages of support.
Vanessa, who shares five children with Don Jr, asked for privacy while focusing on her recovery.

She also thanked her doctors for performing a procedure earlier in the week. “I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me,” she added.
Vanessa said she remains optimistic as she continues treatment.
“I’m staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she wrote. “Thank you for your kindness and support. It truly means more than I can express.”
The former model also requested privacy “as I focus on my health and recovery.”

Vanessa Trump was married to Donald Trump Jr from 2005 until their divorce in 2018. The former couple share five children: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.

In March 2025, Vanessa publicly confirmed she was in a relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods. The couple reportedly own homes in Jupiter, Florida.
Woods recently returned to the United States after spending six weeks at a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland following a March 27 car crash and DUI arrest.
