PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: An experienced investigative journalist from the Miami Herald, who has been at the forefront of the Epstein case, has come out and discredited unfounded rumors calling former President Donald Trump a "co-conspirator" of deceased billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, especially since it was brought up by a prominent House Democrat, according to the Daily Beast.

Julie K Brown, who also authored the book ‘Perversion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story', posted on X to address and dismiss the speculations being spread by social media users and the Democrat lawmaker.

NEW YORK, NY - JULY 15: Miami Herald reporter Julie K. Brown exits federal court following a bail hearing for Jeffrey Epstein, July 15, 2019 in New York City. The judge stated he will make a ruling regarding bail on Thursday. Epstein is charged with having operated a sex trafficking ring in which he abused dozens of underage girls. In response to an X user, Brown clarified, “This is FALSE,” refuting claims that the media was ignoring the alleged connection between former President Trump and Epstein in trial documents released last week.

She also emphasized, “If there was evidence in a file made public, trust me, the media would be all over it.”

"These kinds of posts defy logic yet y’all are retweeting this propaganda,” Brown added.

What prompted Julia K Brown to disprove alleged Trump-Epstein connection?

Rep Ted Lieu (D-CA), the vice chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, pushed baseless claims during the weekly House press conference last Tuesday, shifting media attention away from the criticism of President Joe Biden by emphasizing the 78-year-old MAGA strongman's alleged connection to Epstein as the main political story of the week.

Despite the newly released records not highlighting Donald Trump's friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, Rep Lieu claimed, "Donald Trump is sort of all over this."

The California representative remarked, “Y’all might want to look at that, because it’s highly disturbing,” suggesting further investigation into Trump's association with Epstein.

This attempt from the Democrat lawmaker was probably made to link the recently released trial documents to prior knowledge of Epstein's connections to influential individuals worldwide, including Prince Andrew and former President Donald Trump, who had flown on Epstein's private jet several times, according to flight logs from court proceedings.

Rep Ted Lieu encouraged the press to conduct additional research on the internet and recommended starting with the trending hashtag #TrumpPedoFiles, which he refused to elaborate on in the "dignified setting" of the halls of Congress.

Following the circulating rumors, Brown expressed a dejected response in a subsequent post on Wednesday morning, writing, "I've come to believe that the American public won't pay for the truth. They would rather believe the lies they get for free on the internet."

Rep Lieu has not publicly retracted his unsubstantiated correlation between the recently released trial documents and former President Trump.

Internet accuse Julie K Brown of 'defending' Trump

One X user asked, "Got it that he was not a "co-conspirator" but this dodges the question. Did he use Epstein's services?"

Another user wrote, "Trump knew Epstein was a child mo****er and didn't care."

One X user claimed, "Not a co conspirator, a friend and client."

Another user remarked, "“Co-conspirator” no…but he was on his plane and they sure called/hung out a lot. Sounds to me like you’re defending the guy.."

Finally, this user tweeted, ""Co-conspirator" may be pushing it but there is ample evidence that Donnie was a frequent client of Epstein's services..."
