LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kris Kristofferson gave his final performance on April 29, 2023, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles during Willie Nelson's 90th birthday party concert.

Many great entertainers performed during the two-day concert on Nelson’s 90th birthday, and country music star Kristofferson stepped to the mic alongside Rosanne Cash and performed 'Loving Her Was Easier', per Whiskey Riff.

Kris Kristofferson performed the song that was originally written and recorded by him for his 1971 'The Silver Tongued Devil & I' record. It was also recorded by Roger Miller, Tompall Glaser, Mark Chesnutt, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus, and others.

Kristofferson and Cash sang it as 'Loving You Was Easier' during that performance in 2023. The viral video shows a close-up look of the two singers and the happiness across Kristofferson's face as he's singing.

In the video, Cash and Kristofferson finished the song, and as they hugged, a sound, similar to her sobbing, was caught on the microphone. A closeup of the video showed both singers appeared to have teary eyes as they walked off stage.

The duo later re-joined the show for an all-star version of 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken'. Kristofferson was also seen closing the second night of the two-day concert, as he sang with the crowd 'Happy Birthday' to Nelson.
