LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actor Vin Diesel has strongly denied allegations of sexual battery made by his former assistant Asta Jonasson.

Jonasson alleges the incident took place on the set of the 2011 film 'Fast Five'. Diesel's lawyer dismissed the claims as "outlandish" and said that the star "categorically denies this claim in its entirety," as per Daily Mail.

Asta Jonasson's damning allegations against Vin Diesel

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday, December 21, in Los Angeles by Jonasson, who was hired by Diesel's production company One Race Films to be his assistant for nine days while 'Fast Five' filmed in Atlanta in 2010. Jonasson claims that Diesel forcibly groped and kissed her in his hotel suite after she escorted him upstairs to avoid paparazzi.

In the lawsuit, Jonasson alleges sexual battery, wrongful termination based on resisting advances, and creating a hostile work environment. She is suing Diesel, his sister Samantha Vincent who heads One Race Films, and the production company itself.

"This is the first he has ever heard about this more than 13-year-old claim made by a purportedly nine-day employee," said Diesel’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, in a statement to Vanity Fair. “There is clear evidence which completely refutes her outlandish allegations.”

Asta Jonasson was fired by Vin Diesel's sister hours after alleged sexual assault

In court documents, Jonasson gives graphic details about the alleged sexual assault, claiming Diesel pinned her against a wall in his underwear after pulling up her dress. She says she "dissociated" and kept her eyes closed during the incident.

According to her account, Diesel then purportedly masturbated while leaning against her, before concluding the incident by allegedly stating, "No one can say s**t about Asta," and leaving the room.

Hours later, Jonasson alleges she received a call from Diesel's sister and One Race Films president Samantha Vincent, firing her and saying her services were no longer needed. Jonasson believes she was terminated because she resisted Diesel's advances.

For years, Jonasson says she remained silent "out of fear of Diesel's power in Hollywood" and concerns over her immigration status. But she now feels newly empowered to speak up in light of the #MeToo movement. Her lawsuit invokes California's Speak Out Act, allowing old claims of abuse to be revived.
