PORTLAND, OREGON: A video shared by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Sunday, October 5, shows a protester being rolled away on a flatbed platform cart with the song 'Ridin' by Chamillionaire in the background.
The video taken in Portland was initially posted on the X (formerly Twitter) account of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The video, which was captioned "Refuse to walk? We’ll give you a ride," shows a man in a black hoodie lying face down on a metal cart with his hands tied behind his back.
The video quickly went viral with tens of thousands of likes on X, and by Monday it had over three million impressions.
This comes amid President Donald Trump’s administration continuing its law enforcement efforts as the protests against ICE intensify across the country.
ICE agents targeted across the country

On Friday, in a suburb of Chicago, more than a dozen people were arrested by federal agents during a protest at an ICE processing facility.
Around 250 anti-ICE demonstrators took part in the protest in Broadview, Illinois. According to Fox News, agents fired pepper balls, tear gas, and rubber bullets to clear the crowds.
Also on Friday, in the Illinois suburbs of Norridge and Bensenville, ICE agents, while on routine patrol, were targeted by illegal immigrants who used their vehicles as weapons.
They were rammed by vehicles and boxed in by ten cars. When agents attempted to escape, a woman carrying a semi-automatic gun allegedly tried to run them over but was shot by police with a rubber bullet.
The incident intensified when Chicago officers were initially prepared to help the agents but were allegedly told to hold back by the chief of patrol, according to a dispatch recording.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin's statement

"Thankfully, none of our law enforcement were killed because of these deranged criminals' attacks on law enforcement," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement following the .
"This is exactly what happens when [Illinois] Governor Pritzker, [Chicago] Mayor Johnson, and other sanctuary politicians demonize ICE and encourage illegal aliens to resist law enforcement," she added.
"Our ICE law enforcement is facing a more than 1000% increase in assaults — including cars — being used as weapons against them. Secretary [Kristi] Noem has been clear: anyone who assaults law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," McLaughlin stressed.
