NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Taylor Swift might be one of the most famous celebrities in the world right now, but her fame has its downsides!

Recently, a series of images went viral on the internet that showed the 35-year-old songstress coming out of a bathroom with her bodyguard in tow.

As the pictures started making rounds of the internet, conversations started online about the downsides of being a globally renowned celebrity who can’t even visit public restrooms alone because of the fear of getting mobbed.

Recently, some of the ‘So High School’ singer’s fans took social media by storm when they posted a series of images of Swift coming out of a public bathroom, at the Caesars Superdome stadium in New Orleans, on Super Bowl day, per Daily Mail

While the image looked innocuous at first glance, fans were left unsettled by the glaring fact that the songstress couldn’t even visit the washrooms without fear of being mobbed by her fans and had her bodyguard following her everywhere to ensure her safety.

The series of photos that went viral, featured the Grammy winner walking out of the restroom, with her bodyguard Drew - who is easily recognizable by Swifties - closely following her.

Sharing the photo, one fan even highlighted, “The fact that Drew has to go to the bathroom with her.”

Nevertheless, several fans also stated that it was necessary for Drew to closely follow Swift following the jarring incident of her getting booed by the New Orleans audience during the Super Bowl.

On Sunday, the 'Bad Blood' singer was welcomed with a brutal mocking as she appeared on the jumbotron on the Caesars Superdome during the Super Bowl match between her beau Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

This is, however, not the only time that Drew has made it a point to trail behind Swift. As eagle-eyed fans previously noticed the security personnel blending in the background in a purple graduation cape and cap when the songstress was honored at New York University's commencement ceremony for the class of 2022.

Social media users saddened at Taylor Swift always being shadowed by her security

Soon, the internet was filled with chatter regarding the downside of fame Taylor Swift has to undergo. One of the fans even compared her situation to "living in a fishbowl" as the superstar songstress needs her security personnel to accompany her while going to the washroom to ensure safety.

One of the fans bemoaned online, "Being that famous would be awful. Imagine needing security to protect you from being mobbed in a washroom. It isn’t hyperbole either. seeing the swarms of people that show up outside restaurants, imagine it just being a bathroom stall. People have no boundaries, especially w TS."

Another Swiftie noted, "I know. How sad is that? We all love Drew, but the fact he has to stand outside her stall."

"The fact that there is someone OUTSIDE THE BATHROOM WAITING FOR HER TO GET OUT TO TAKE A PICTURE makes it reasonable. unfortunately, people don't know the definition of privacy, so she needs him beside her at all times, even for the bathroom," chimed in another.

Someone else noted that after the recent events, it definitely makes sense for her to have security everywhere, as they noted, "This is definitely a different life and if she wants to be left alone after everything she's put out recently it really makes a lot of sense."

Another fan mourned at the inevitable fact, writing, "It makes me so sad that she can't even go to the bathroom alone."

Another fan explained the necessity for Drew to be present at the washroom to ensure safety, as they wrote, "Someone could easily look over a stall trying to get a compromising pic of her and sell it for a lot of money. So yeah he def needs to be there."

Another user called out Swift's fans for their allegedly overenthusiastic nature, as they wrote, "Her younger fans are that obnoxious and won't give her private or personal space, it's a shame. She's a normal woman like all of us and doesn't need to constantly have her space invaded."

"Danger everywhere for this young lady and people wonder why the booing was not welcomed," highlighted another user.

Someone else commented on Swift's situation, noting, "Poor Tay. She's living in a fishbowl for the rest of her life."

Several of the fans were not subtle while calling out that images like this precisely dictate the need for Drew to shadow Swift in all circumstances. "Maybe if people weren’t following & taking pictures of her in private moments like this, she wouldn’t need constant security," commented the user.

Another fan noted in the same vein, "Maybe if people weren’t following & taking pictures of her in private moments like this, she wouldn’t need constant security."

"Can you imagine all the people who would swarm her in the bathroom if she didn't have security. I never really thought about it untilnthat picture dropped," declared someone else.
