NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Following his fourth-place finish in the Iowa caucus, Vivek Ramaswamy announced that he's dropping of 2024 presidential run.

He also announced his "full endorsement" for former President Donald Trump.

After Ramaswamy announced his withdrawal from the campaign and was lauded for backing Trump.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on Ramaswamy’s decision.

Several people on the internet applauded Ramaswamy for his epic campaign and thanked him.

Sean Hannity reports on Vivek Ramaswamy’ dropping out of presidential race

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “RAMASWAMY OUT: Vivek Drops Out After Fourth Place Iowa Performance, Endorses Trump [WATCH]. RAMASWAMY: "There needs to be an America First candidate in this race. Going forward, [Trump] will have my full endorsement for the presidency.”



 

Hannity’s tweet presented an article from his official website which stated Vivek Ramaswamy has suspended his presidential campaign and exiting the race on the heels of the Iowa caucuses.

During his speech in Iowa, Ramaswamy told his supporters, “There is no path for me to be the next president absent things we don't want to see happen in this country.”

He continued, “I've said since the beginning, there are two America First candidates in this race. And earlier tonight, I called Donald Trump to tell him that I congratulate him on his victory and that now going forward he will have my full endorsement for the presidency.”

Shortly after Ramaswamy’s speech, Donald Trump also praised the businessman.

With 95 per cent of the anticipated votes counted, Ramaswamy is set to secure a distant fourth place in the caucuses with approximately 8 per cent.

He had participated in every Republican presidential primary debate until the CNN debate just preceding the Iowa caucuses.



 

Internet pays respect to Vivek Ramaswamy

After Vivek Ramaswamy announced the suspension of the presidential campaign, many X users praised the businessman.

One person wrote, “Let's give a round of applause to Vivek for his tireless efforts in running a spirited campaign!  Now, it's time for us to unite and rally behind Trump as we move forward together. Remember, we're stronger when we stand as one. #Trump2024,” and another said, “I have a lot of #respect for Vivek. Hope to see him in the future.”



 



 

An X user simply lauded Ramaswamy, “Thank you for your candor and your youth.  We have the greatest respect for you and your family.  Best wishes in the future,” and another wrote, “Great move. He will be great stumping for Team Trump.”



 



 

One more person backed him adding, “Ramaswamy is a very good man and a great American Patriot!  We all wish him well and know that he will get a very high post in Trumps Presidency.  MAGA!!” and another expressed, “He’s a class act, ran a good race & endorsed President Trump!! He’s on my radar for the future.”
