WATCH: Chris Hemsworth turns into a drummer as he rocks Ed Sheeran's concert in Romania

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Chris Hemsworth is a multi-talented star and he has provided the evidence once again.

The audience at Ed Sheeran’s Romania concert was in for a treat when the Marvel superstar took the stage on August 24, per Daily Mail.

The ‘Shape of You’ singer recently shared a video on his Instagram account where Hemsworth can be seen playing the drums along with the singer during his Bucharest concert in Romania.

“Got Chris Hemsworth to learn to play drums for my stadium show,” Sheeran shared on Instagram Saturday, moments after the show.

The ‘Avengers’ star enthralled the 70,000-odd crowd when he played the drums along with Ed Sheeran’s vocals. The singer explained in the video that the collaboration happened after the actor reached out to him in December. 

The unique moment was captured for an upcoming episode on the second season of National Geographic’s Disney+ original series 'Limitless With Chris Hemsworth'.

The singer said in the video, “So we're here in Bucharest, basically what's happening is Chris emailed me last December saying he's doing a documentary on cognitive health and the benefits of learning an instrument.”

He added, “He came to visit me, and he has learnt drums and now Cindy's coming on stage in front of 70,000.”

As the crows erupted in loud applause seeing the actor, Sheeran praised his star protege, saying, “Make some noise for Chris Hemsworth! Give him a big round of applause, guys! You really did well.”

Following his jubilant performance, the ‘Extraction’ actor was also jokingly given a 'Participation Award’ by Sheeran's crew, as a humorous nod to his perseverance in learning a new instrument.

The netizens went wild over the crossover no one saw coming. Some even noted that this surprise collaboration was not on their 2024 bingo card.

Nat Geo TV, who is making the documentary, noted, "This performance gave us the shivers."
