PARIS, FRANCE: Hunter Woodhall has created history at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympics by winning gold for Team USA!

The athlete competed on Friday, September 6, in the 400m T62 event as his Olympian wife Tara Davis-Woodhall cheered him on.

Hunter Woodhall went viral after his wild celebration with his partner on winning her gold medal for Team USA in the long jump event

The viral moment showed the couple embracing each other after Tara Davis-Woodhall came running to hug Hunter who told her, โ€œBabe, youโ€™re the Olympic champion!โ€

He completed the race in 46.36 seconds, followed by silver medalist Johannes Floors of Germany and bronze medalist Olivier Hendriks of the Netherlands.



 

After the race, Woodhall ripped off his bib and flipped it over, revealing the message โ€œWyatt Woodhall: This one is for you,โ€ remembering his uncle who died in 2021.

Woodhall will also race the 4x100m universal relay Friday evening, September 13, in Paris, reports NBC News.
