The former model said it was “very nice because we were two of us alone in the car for hour, hour and a half. No other noise, no other people because, at that time, he was already known as a zit celebrity. So it was really nice to be just the two of us.”

Melania admitted that she instantly felt a connection with the business tycoon, saying, “I love the vision that he had. And the connection that we had. So it was very special."

When the interviewer asked to describe Donald in one word, the wife chose the word, “Caring,” reported Daily Mail.

Melania also shared the moment when Donald proposed to her in 2004, “First of all it was my birthday as well. And it was the Met Gala. It was all in one. We were already at home. Both of us in black tie. So he proposed that time,” she said.

Internet divided as Melania Trump details first date with Donald Trump

Netizens shared their opinion on Donald Trump and Melania Trump's first date as the former first lady promoted her new memoir 'Melania', scheduled for October 1 release.

“So bizarre that she makes no campaign appearances with Dumpy,” read a comment. “I wonder what caused the two of them to fall for each other and get married? Love, Looks or Money?” another curious person asked.

One shared, “Melania's book is at the top of many of Amazon's charts. Looking forward to her being first lady again.”

“Politics aside, she presents as loyal and dignified and hasn't used her wealth or her son as an influencer prop. That's pretty rare these days. Gotta respect that,” an individual praised Melania.

“If a guy decided it would be a good idea to show off and take you looking at property for a first date, then why would you go on a second date unless you were a gold digger,” another accused the former first lady.
