Taylor Swift and Katy Perry did not start on good terms
The two legendary singers do not share a great past but the September 11 gestures by the ‘Lover’ singer showed everything is more than good between the two.
As per reports, the issue between the icons began a decade ago when backup dancers allegedly left Swift’s group to join Perry's Prismatic World Tour.

The 34-year-old pop sensation then released ‘Bad Blood’ in 2014 apparently slamming Perry.
The lyrics go like this: “Now we got problems And I don't think we can solve 'em You made a really deep cut And baby, now we got bad blood (hey!)”
“Did you have to do this? I was thinking that you could be trusted Did you have to ruin What was shining? Now it's all rusted Did you have to hit me Where I'm weak? Baby, I couldn't breathe And rub it in so deep Salt in the wound like you're laughing right at me.”
Taylor Swift had called Katy Perry her enemy
Also in an interview with Rolling Stone, she reportedly called an unnamed singer a “straight-up enemy.”
Perry fired back in a 2015 tweet. She wrote, “Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the takedown of a woman…”

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry became friends in 2018
However, 2018 saw a positive move made by Perry, who sent an actual olive branch to Swift during her Reputation Tour.
A year later, the ladies even worked together in Swift's ‘You Need To Calm Down’ music video and since then there has been no going back.
Meanwhile, Bruce Gillmer, the chief content officer of music at Paramount+ and president of music, music talent, programming, and events at Paramount has described Perry as a “true pop culture icon”.
Gillmer added, “Katy is a musical powerhouse and true pop culture icon. With her game-changing creative vision, she has become a global phenomenon and taken over the world’s biggest stages.”
