LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Donald Trump has hit back at late-night TV show hosts, emphasizing on Jimmy Fallon. "He’s not very funny," said Donald Trump, referring to Fallon.

The Republican presidential candidate said that the current late-night shows, especially the ones hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert are all "dying." “Those three guys are being blown away by [Fox News’] Gutfeld. When I first ran in 2015 or was thinking about running I went on [Jimmy’s] show, ‘The Tonight Show,’ which is dying. They’re all dying. Where is Johnny Carson? Bring back Johnny. It made you appreciate the greatness of Johnny Carson. These three guys are so bad,” he added, referring to the other two hosts [Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert.]

Carson retired from his TV career and was replaced by Jay Leno in 1992. Later, the iconic host died in 2005 after battling emphysema.

Donald Trump opens up on 'personality defect'

During his Pennsylvania rally, Donald Trump said, “I don’t like anybody that doesn’t like me. I’ll be honest, when they don’t like me, I don’t like them. OK? Sounds childish… That’s the way it is. Call it a personality defect.”

The Republican presidential candidate earlier slammed Jimmy Kimmel and called him a bad host after Oscars presentation, reports Variety

Internet reacts to Donald Trump’s call for bringing back TV host Jimmy Carson

Netizens shared their thoughts on the former president remembering Jimmy Carson. A few suggested he used it as a metaphor when he said bring Carson back to hosting.

A user shared on X, "He didn't literally mean bring him back from the dead, he was comparing the late Johnny Carson to the late night comedy hosts that we have today like Fallon and Kimmel and that we need to bring comedians like Carson back. I agree Johnny Carson was the best."

"So remembering something well from 19 years ago is sign of dementia?" another opined.

Another expressed, "He is obviously “not all there”. Whatever it was that he “had” is slipping away, day by day, week by week. Half of America is unable or unwilling to deal with the fact."

"A danger to self and others. Trump kids!!! Come get your pappy!" an individual wrote.

"You're obviously too dumb to even understand the reference...maybe you should sit this one out, clown 🤦🏼‍♂️" a person expressed.
