In a recent revelation, rapper Flav disclosed that Swift herself acknowledged his 'King Swiftie' title at the Grammys, sparking a debate among social media users.
Despite currently being on her Eras Tour in Tokyo, Swift caused a stir among fans when footage surfaced of her nearly slipping during a performance on the 'Folklore' set piece. She later confessed that she experienced a moment of panic as her life flashed before her eyes.
On the other hand, Swifties recently rejoiced at the news of Swift's upcoming directorial debut in a feature film. Following the conclusion of her record-breaking Eras Tour later this year, production for the film is set to kick off in early 2025, following her final tour stops in December 2024.

Flavor Flav asserts Taylor Swift acknowledged his King Swiftie title
According to the Daily Mail, Flav recently discussed his encounter with Swift at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony in an interview. He shared details about their conversation and how the 'Lover' singer approved of his nickname.
Flav has been a vocal supporter of Swift, earning him the title of 'King Swiftie' from her devoted fan base known as Swifties.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Flav expressed his excitement at finally getting to interact with Swift at the awards show, following his attendance at her Eras Tour performance the previous year.

He stated, “The discussion (at the Grammys) was about me congratulating her on all her success. And me being a big fan of hers, a big supporter of hers. Having her acknowledge that her fan base ‘Swifties’ gave me a name, ‘King Swiftie'. I said, ‘You know they call me King Swiftie?’ She said, ‘I know!'"
Flav described Swift's acknowledgment of his nickname as a significant moment for him, stating, “Yo, when I heard her say that, that was huge for me.”

People Magazine reported that Flav had previously declared himself 'King Swiftie' during an interview with HOT 97’s 'Ebro in the Morning' in mid-January, affirming, “Yes, I am a Swiftie. Not only that, but I got a new name now: 'King Swiftie'."
According to People Magazine, Flav and Swift initially met at the iHeartRadio Awards in March 2023.
