LOS ANGLES, CALIFORNIA: Social media users didn't seem very forgiving after actor John Schneider clarified his "urinating dog" following the 'racist' allegations that were levied on him by Beyonce's fans after he expressed his criticism of the singer's recent country song 'Texas Hold 'Em'.

Beyonce's brand-new country song 'Texas Hold 'Em' has unleashed a storm of praises on social media by topping the Hot Country Songs chart, making the 'Single Ladies' singer the first black woman to achieve this milestone.

Congratulating Beyonce on the monumental achievement, country music legend Dolly Parton expressed her admiration for Beyonce on Instagram in a post. Parton introduced herself as a fan of Beyonce's music and asserted she looked forward to the curation of more country melodies by the 'Halo' singer.

John Schneider claims Beyonce's fans chasing clout for singer's song by calling him out

The Daily Mail reported that Schneider wanted to clear up his remarks about Beyonce's music and criticized her fan base, the BeyHive after they accused him of racism following his negative comment about her song 'Texas Hold 'Em'.

Beyonce surprised fans by announcing a country album called 'Act II: Renaissance'. Initially, reactions to her genre change were mixed. However, when she released the first two tracks, 'Texas Hold 'Em' and '16 Carriages', they received widespread praise online.

But when Schneider was asked about Beyoncé's shift to country music on the OAN network, he seemed to aim at her and said, "Beyonce doing a country song is like a dog peeing on our tree.

They've got to make their mark, like a dog at a dog walk park, you know every dog has to mark every tree, so that's what's going on here."

Fans of Beyoncé were furious at Schneider's comments and accused him of being racist. However, speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, the 'Dukes of Hazzard' star, who released country music in the 1980s, insisted that being called racist was "absurd and just ridiculous" as using the expression about a dog marking a tree was something he had said his whole life.

Schneider told the Daily Mail, "I've used that expression about myself whenever I endeavor to go out. and push the envelope? I'm from New York. I've got a saying. I have said every dog needs to be on a tree my whole life, which means everyone has a right to their opinion. Everyone has a right to try, do, and say anything because of freedom of speech."

He added, "Everyone has a right to try or do anything that they wish, so it was never intended to compare her to a dog. And if you listen to it or if you see it, you'll see the first thing I said about Beyonce was that I think Beyonce is the greatest female vocalist since Whitney Houston. I do know a little something about country music because I've done it for so long. God bless her for having a number-one song. So now even if I had said something derogatory, which I did not, I have the right to."

Schneider seemed to suggest that Beyoncé's fans were using the controversy to gain clout for her new album.

He said, "They found something that they could take out of context, and they ran with it. I think they ran with it. They looked at it as free press for a new album. I was just used as a unknowing, I won't say unwitting, but unknowing tool to promote some new music. I welcome all free speech. I believe in standing up for what you believe is right, even if I disagree with you."

According to the Daily Mail, Schneider also hinted that he is willing to collaborate with Beyonce, noting that he had four number-one country songs.
