PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, recently expressed his discontentment toward the judges presiding over his criminal and civil cases.

The 77-year-old GOP presidential frontrunner lambasted the judges and prosecutors, labeling them as "radical lunatics" in a scathing Truth Social post made on Monday, February 19.

According to Mediaite, the MAGA figurehead argued that his trials should be postponed until after the 2024 election, citing the "Justice Department’s Justice Manual" as evidence.

Trump takes on 'radical left lunatic prosecutors' in Truth Social rant

The former POTUS posted on his beleaguered social networking platform in all-caps to express his dissatisfaction on Monday, “ALL POLITICAL PROSECUTIONS OF YOUR FAVORITE PRESIDENT, ME, MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ELECTION, PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY, AND THESE RADICAL LEFT LUNATIC PROSECUTORS AND JUDGES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE DOING THIS. WHY DIDN’T THEY START THREE YEARS AGO??? BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO INTERFERE WITH THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2024, THAT’S WHY!”

The "Justice Department's Justice Manual" was subsequently referenced by Trump as proof that his criminal and civil trials need to be delayed until after the 2024 presidential election.

He continued, “According to Section 9-85.500 of the Justice Department’s Justice Manual: “Federal prosecutors and agents may never select the timing of any action, including investigative steps, criminal charges, or statements, for the purpose of affecting any election, or for the purpose of giving an advantage or disadvantage to any candidate or political party.””

“THIS IS ELECTION INTERFERENCE, AND MUST BE IMMEDIATELY STOPPED,” he concluded. “I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANY FAKE PROSECUTIONS BEFORE THE ELECTION. THIS IS COMMUNISM, AND A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY. OUR COUNTRY WILL NOT STAND FOR IT. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

In a recent article by Lawfare, Jack Goldsmith, a professor at Harvard Law School, referred to Section 9-85.500 while highlighting the potential risks associated with Special Counsel Jack Smith's haste to expedite the trial process.

Smith has been advocating for a speedy resolution of his election interference case before summer, so as not to affect the general election process; however, Goldsmith opines that such a timeline seems improbable, given Donald Trump's appeals to the Supreme Court.

The former president is facing four criminal prosecutions and has been found guilty in additional civil cases, including defamation, sexual assault, and fraud, per a report by Raw Story.

He was ordered to pay $355 million in damages last week after a judge found him guilty of overstating his property valuations in order to fraudulently obtain favorable loans and insurance.

Last month, he was ordered to pay $83.3 million to writer E Jean Carroll after finding him guilty of defaming her.

The first criminal case, involving hush money payments he allegedly made to adult film star Stormy Daniels to conceal an affair the two had in the past, is set to begin on March 25.

Donald Trump slammed over rant as lawsuits pile up

People on X ridiculed the former POTUS as he suggested that all cases against him should be thrown out.

One X user remarked, "What a snowflake."

Another said, "He's toast!"

Someone else wrote, "You ran for office during your criminal prosecution. Drop out, and that will solve the problem. There is no upside to supporting a criminal under any circumstances."

One user quipped, "Twumpie, let's be clear. These cases started dropping before you very prematurely announced your plan to run for president. Your candidacy is a desperate attempt to evade culpability. Here's the problem, even if you're on the ballot, you won't win. You... are... a criminal. You're angry that you got caught. Your delusions of grandeur and omnipotence make you believe you're above the law. You're not, citizen trump.... eat it."

Another remarked, "The walls are closing in Donald."

Someone else tweeted, "These excuses are old. Try another format."
