NORTHBOROUGH, MASSACHUSETTS: Astronomer’s ex-CEO Andy Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan, has reportedly left their $1.4 million home in Northborough following the July 16 Coldplay kiss cam incident, which revealed her husband's affair with his colleague.
Kerrigan is reportedly hiding out in a $2.4 million mansion in Kennebunk, Maine, approximately 106 miles away, the Daily Mail reported.
Megan Kerrigan moves to $2.4M mansion in Kennebunk after Coldplay kiss cam scandal
The outlet reported that Megan Kerrigan has "fled" their Northborough house and is "trying to keep a low profile" in the $2.4 million mansion in Kennebunk.
Meanwhile, many close family members, including her elder sister Maura, have reportedly rushed to her support since the Coldplay kiss cam video went viral. Megan and Andy Byron reportedly share two children.
Kerrigan has so far not issued an official statement regarding the scandal. However, she has removed "Byron" from her Facebook profile before deactivating or deleting her account. Her old profile featured “happy family” moments, including photos from hiking trips and the graduation of one of their children, per the outlet.

Meanwhile, a new Facebook account under the name Megan Kerrigan was seen on July 19, which soon gained more than 13,000 followers.
Moreover, the first post from the account referenced the scandal and ended with the line, "I will take my children and leave this repulsive man behind."
The post also read, "I believed him but it turns out that during those times He was with another woman. I naively thought he was working hard for our family, for our children but the kiss caught on camera at the concert shattered everything seeing Andy and Kristen Cabot cuddle together then hurriedly separating when they noticed the camera brought me a level of humiliation and pain, I cannot even describe, I cannot accept and his actions."
However, it must be noted that there is currently no official verification that the account belongs to the real Kerrigan.
Andy Byron’s wife Megan Kerrigan drops his last name
Megan Kerrigan took significant steps to distance herself publicly after a viral video from a Coldplay concert showed her husband in an intimate moment with a colleague.
Following the incident, Kerrigan removed “Byron” from her name on social media and deactivated or deleted her Facebook account, a move that has fueled speculation about the state of their marriage.

The viral Coldplay kiss cam video, captured during the band’s performance at Gillette Stadium, shows Andy Byron seated with his arm around Kristin Cabot, Astronomer’s chief people officer, as the kiss cam scanned the crowd.

Martin then added, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Expert believes Andy Byron could face Jeff Bezos-style payout if there is divorce
Andy Byron's on-camera moment with Kristin Cabot during Coldplay's concert might cost him not just his marriage, but possibly a fortune rivaling Jeff Bezos’ $38 billion divorce settlement.
Following the incident last week, Byron was placed on leave by Astronomer, and a formal investigation was launched.
On July 19, the tech company confirmed that Byron had handed in his resignation and that the board of directors had accepted it.

The company stated, "As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met. Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted."
Meanwhile, some experts told the New York Post that Byron may have opted to resign rather than be fired, as a board-initiated termination could have left him with nothing.

Additionally, according to the outlet's legal experts, Byron’s estimated net worth, believed to be between $20 million and $70 million, could be up for grabs if divorce proceedings begin.
Interestingly, under Massachusetts law, where the couple resides, long-term spouses typically split assets 50/50. In this case, Byron could be required to give half of his assets to his wife, Megan Kerrigan.
Celebrity divorce attorney Nancy Chemtob told the New York Post, "It’s obviously a long-term relationship," and if Byron’s net worth is on the higher end, "he would have to shell out a massive amount."
Another expert noted that the payout could reach the same league as Jeff Bezos' divorce from MacKenzie Scott, in which the Amazon founder handed over $38 billion.
