PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Vice President Kamala Harris and his running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz have scheduled seven campaign events in key swing states this week. In contrast, former President Donald Trump has only one campaign event planned.

A post shared by President Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump)

This led to the hashtag "Where is Trump" to trend on all major social media platforms as voters speculate the 78-year-old MAGA strongman has run out of steam ahead of the crucial November presidential election.

What did Trump’s associates and other journalists report on his whereabouts?

Kamala Harris’ campaign team released a video clip on X (formerly Twitter) featuring CNN anchor Jake Tapper questioning why the former POTUS isn't actively out on the campaign trail.

Tapper asked CNN national correspondent Kristen Holmes, “Where is former President Trump? Why isn't he out there campaigning?”

“Well, the former president is here in Palm Beach at his Mar-a-Lago resort,” Holmes replied.

“Why he's not campaigning? We have obviously asked the campaign when he will be out on the road again. But obviously, this is a split screen here, as you see Harris and Walz pounding the pavement in these battleground states and Vance really alone out there while Trump has been in Florida,” she added.

The Harris campaign, which operates under the username ‘Kamala HQ’ also posted a clip of the 2024 Republican vice-presidential candidate, Sen JD Vance (R-Ohio) addressing Trump’s absence on the campaign trail.

“Governor Walz and Vice President Harris are expected to take a battleground state tour the next couple of days. Former President Trump will be making a public campaign appearance until Friday in Montana. Is that a missed opportunity?” one reporter asked the Ohio GOP senator.

Vance said, “Now, look, I think I'm making a number of public appearances over the next few days just to drive home the fact that Kamala Harris' policies have been such a failure for normal Americans.”

“I know the president's very busy over the next few days,” he added. “One of the things you got to do is, of course, get out there and speak to people and speak to reporters.”

“A final thing you have to do, of course, is raise the resource and I know the president's very busy doing exactly that. So he and I are taking a divide and conquer strategy to this campaign,” he explained.

Trump slammed for staying in at Mar-a-Lago as Harris and Walz campaign across nation

One X user claimed, "He might be trying to sabotage his own campaign, so he can blame the loss on others, like Vance and other Repubs abandoning him. The only reason he's running is to stay out of jail. He's getting tired, and may be thinking he can just run out the clock on all the court cases."

Another user asserted, "Kamala Harris has events in SEVEN swing states this week with her VP. Meanwhile, Trump isn’t visiting any battlegrounds this week. Fact is Fact."

Ar user remarked, "Trump looks tired, worn out, depressed, and most of all… old AF."

One X user said, "Trump is old, there's no denying that fact, but on top of that, it's been 9 lonnnnng years of hearing the same childish name calling, tantrums, and overall bs. Enough. Basta." [sic]

Another user quipped, "Well if Trump ain’t got the stamina for swing states, he can always practice his golf swing. That shouldn’t take too much out of him."

Finally, a user tweeted, "Plus his one event is in Montana? Why? He's afraid of the battleground states..."
