Hunter Tirpak grabs attention at Trump’s 2016 Pennsylvania rally
The original moment happened at a Trump rally at the Mohegan Sun Arena near Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where about 9,000 people had gathered.
Hunter was dressed as a tiny version of Trump, wearing a dark blue suit and power tie, with his hair styled into a poof resembling the future president’s famous comb-over.
The toddler’s outfit caught Trump’s attention, and the then-Republican presidential candidate brought Hunter into his arms.

Trump briefly spoke with the boy before asking him a question that sent the crowd into cheers.
“Do you want to go back with your mommy and daddy or do you want to stay with Donald Trump?” Trump asked.
Hunter’s answer was simple. “Trump.” The response drew a loud cheer from the crowd, turning the toddler into an instant highlight of the Pennsylvania rally.
Hunter Tirpak’s mother explains his ‘Baby Trump’ costume
Hunter’s mother, Jessica Tirpak, said the costume was meant to be fun. She dressed her son as “Baby Trump” because she wanted to bring some positivity to the campaign atmosphere.
“I wanted to show some positiveness. There’s been way too much negativity in the campaign,” Jessica said.
The image of the toddler in his miniature suit, complete with the Trump-style hairstyle, became an especially memorable moment from the rally.
