LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Whoopi Goldberg delivered a powerful warning against misogynistic language. 'The View' star called out figures like Andrew Tate and other social media personalities who hide behind anonymity to make offensive remarks about women in a recent episode of the show.

Goldberg pointed out that these individuals wouldn’t dare say such things to a woman face-to-face, stressing that in 2025, such behavior will no longer be tolerated. She urged young men to rethink their actions while also highlighting the unwavering resilience of marginalized groups in the face of adversity.

Whoopi Goldberg calls out anonymous people making offensive remarks

During a recent ‘The View’ episode titled 'Some Conservatives Slam Tate Brothers' Vegas Welcome', Whoopi Goldberg aimed at anonymous individuals who feel empowered to make offensive remarks, particularly about controversial social media figure Andrew Tate.

She pointed out, “You can say all that stuff when you're not in front of a woman.”

Whoopi Goldberg issues stern warning to men making offensive comments about women. She emphasized, “This is 2025, y'all. And those things, those ideas that you have? You're just not going to get away with them, because all of those little young men who say, 'Your body, my choice,' they don't say them to real people, they don't say them to real women.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin expressed concern, noting that these individuals have large social media followings, potentially indicating wider support for their views.

Goldberg responded, “Yes, but there are many people who feel like that's okay. But what I'm saying is, it's 2025, and you can be in your feelings if you want to.”

She then warned, “I would not recommend walking up to any woman and saying any of this, because there's no guarantee that you will leave the situation with your teeth intact. I'm just saying. It's 2025. Grow up. The world is changing.”

Goldberg also stressed the resilience of marginalized groups, declaring, “Black people are not going anywhere, women are not going anywhere, gay people are not going anywhere, trans people are not going anywhere because this is our country too.”

She concluded, “You can try to remove all the books and do all of that, but you're not going to kill the spirit. The spirit lives, y'all.”

Whoopi Goldberg's comments about men making offensive remarks spark debate online

After Whoopi Goldberg called out men for making offensive comments about women, many Reddit users quickly shared their thoughts on the matter.

One user wrote, "And if those men don't like having teeth, then they should think back in what they just said."

A commenter praised, "Seems like a perfectly fair response to men like that."

A third person shared, "If we’re in a society where men have say over women’s bodies and there is precedent or laws to embolden it, then we are in a society where a woman attacking a man will not go well. I think women should have body autonomy but I fear what other things go away when autonomy is removed."

Another person added, "I think those men forgot how marriages used to end when women weren't happy..."

A Redditor remarked, "Nah, these freaks don’t have the balls to say it in public, online only."

Another user commented, "Generally speaking her opinion specifically should be ignored… but in this rare instance she isn’t wrong."
