LOA ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jason Kelce, the retired center for the Philadelphia Eagles, is reportedly contemplating an offer to join 'Dancing with the Stars'.
The 36-year-old, who concluded his 13-year NFL career earlier this year, has been invited to participate in the show's 33rd season, a source close to Kelce revealed.
Will Jason Kelce accept 'Dancing with the Stars' invitation?
The source, who requested anonymity, indicated that Jason Kelce is considering the opportunity but has yet to make a definitive decision. "He wants to show his dancing skills," the source told The Sun.
The complete line-up for the ABC and Disney+ show is anticipated to be announced by the end of August.
Meanwhile, Jason, who retired from the NFL earlier this year following an impressive 13-year career, is poised to start a new chapter as an ESPN pundit on 'Monday Night Football', which may involve considerable juggling and travel.
"He will have to figure out his schedule, but he's enthusiastic," stressed the source.
The upcoming season is scheduled to commence on September 17 in Los Angeles. Jason's potential participation in the show may pose scheduling conflicts, as he is expected to begin his new position as an ESPN analyst for 'Monday Night Football' with the start of the NFL season in early September.
"He will have to figure out his schedule, but he's enthusiastic," the source said.
ABC and Kelce's representatives have not commented on his potential appearance on 'Dancing with the Stars'.
Who will be the hosts and judges for 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 33?
Following the unexpected change in Season 32, where former professional dancer and judge Julianne Hough replaced Tyra Banks as co-host, it is anticipated that fans will witness Julianne's return for Season 33 to host alongside Alfonso Ribeiro, the winner of Season 19, Good Housekeeping reported.
Regarding the judging lineup, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and six-time 'DWTS' champion Derek Hough are set to return to the esteemed panel. Both Inaba and Hough have confirmed their participation on Instagram by sharing the original ABC announcement on their profiles.
If Season 32 continues the show's tradition of surprises, viewers might expect guest judges to join the regular panel, tailored to the week's theme. Last season, notable figures such as 'Good Morning America's Michael Strahan, Billy Porter, and choreographer Mandy Moore made appearances.
