The former adviser to President Donald Trump told viewers, “My voice is a little under the weather, so I won’t be able to speak as loudly as I usually do, but I’ll get closer to the microphone.”

Days later, it was reported that Giuliani had been admitted to the hospital. Ted Goodman, acting as his spokesperson, shared a statement on X, saying: “Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.”
“Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he's fighting with that same level of strength as we speak,” he stated, before adding, “We do ask that you join us in prayer for America's Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”

Trump also responded to Giuliani’s hospitalization.
In a Truth Social post, he wrote, “Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized, and is in critical condition.”

Rudy Giuliani injured in 2025 New Hampshire crash
This marks the second time Giuliani has been hospitalized in recent years. In 2025, he was admitted following a car accident in New Hampshire. At the time, his head of security, Michael Ragusa, said Giuliani “was flagged down by a woman who was the victim of a domestic violence incident.”
“He remained on scene until responding officers arrived to ensure her safety. Following this, while traveling on the highway, Mayor Giuliani's vehicle was struck from behind at high speed,” the statement said.
Ragusa added that Giuliani was taken to “a nearby trauma center, where he was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg.”
