Judd also noted that some of the songs featured in her new album ‘The Hard Truth’, releasing on Friday, October 2, have partly drawn inspiration from Grace.
She told PEOPLE, “I learned about it on TikTok. Isn’t that crazy? I laid there, and I was shocked, just like you would imagine. And I cried and cried and cried and cried, because I have another grandbaby, I think.”

Wynonna Judd says she's 'heartbroken' and 'walking a very interesting walk'
The ‘Kentucky Queen’ hitmaker, who is raising Grace’s four-year-old daughter Kaliyah with her husband, Cactus Moser, shared uncertainty about the future of her second grandchild.

Wynonna Judd asserts 'Grace is my love, she’s my daughter'
The daughter of late Naomi Judd also reflected on her estranged relationship with Grace.
She said, “I miss her. I miss her desperately, and I’ve missed out on a lot of years. I’ve spent half a million dollars on programs trying to do the right thing, trying to do the next right thing,” before referring to her new songs that “come from that dark place, deep and dark.... And you think you can’t make it, but you somehow do by the grace of God.”
But despite all the issues, Judd asserted that “Grace is my love, she’s my daughter, and I love her dearly.”
Wynonna Judd reveals she and sister Ashley Judd are 'taking a break'
This came as the five-time Grammy winner also talked about her relationship with sister Ashley Judd.
She reportedly said, “We’re taking a break, which all families can relate to. She’s doing her thing, and I’m doing mine. She just travels a lot. She’s always gone. It’s nothing specific.”
Last year, the mother-of-two had even added that “Ashley’s doing well. I don’t see her very much, and we’re not as close as I’d like to be, but that’s because success took us away from each other. It’s a funny thing. There’s a bit of sadness because being famous takes you from home."
