LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Yellowstone' actress Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton in the show, blasted the "bulls***t and fakeness" of Hollywood amid Kevin Costner's character, John Dutton, getting killed off.

The British actress told Town & Country that she makes sure to "stay out" of the drama surrounding 'Yellowstone' and unwinds at home with her husband Kyle Baugher, per Daily Mail.

Kelly Reilly rails against 'bulls*** and fakeness' of Hollywood

Kelly Reilly said during the interview, "I don’t participate in the noise in any way. I stay out of it. The only safe place for me is in the work – and then home with my husband. Very boring. It can become a cyclone of bulls***t and fakeness, and I know I won’t find my worth in that."

While discussing Season 5B of 'Yellowstone', which saw Costner's character's tragic ending in the opening minutes, she said, "It really is an ending. So if there is more, it’s a beginning of something else."

Adding further about Season 5B and her character, Beth, she said, "I loved this season. There were some really different territories to explore, so I’m not clinging to her. I’m happy to put her back in her padlocked box."

There have been speculations that Reilly and Cole Hauser, who plays Beth's husband Rip, are set for a 'Yellowstone' spin-off.

She said, "I am definitely interested in Beth, and who she is after some things have happened. Who is she in peace? As an actor you’re like, Ooh, let me at that. Wouldn’t it be fun to watch Beth go to therapy?"

Reilly also revealed that the 'Yellowstone' script "pepped" her interest, before she had a call with show creator Taylor Sheridan.

“I didn’t even audition,” she said. “Then I was like, ‘F**k, I didn’t audition.’ I was terrified, because I didn’t know how I was going to do it. And it took me a minute to find her.”

Kevin Costner addresses fans' backlash over his character's fate in 'Yellowstone'

Kevin Costner, the two-time Oscar winner, gave his views on the backlash from fans over his character's departure from the show. He told E!News at the 2024 Governors Awards in Los Angeles on November 17, "Fans have a voice in things and they choose to follow stuff."

He further said that he had pitched his character's death to Sheridan "a while back" but it was up to producers on the exact way John Dutton would meet his ultimate fate.

"They do what they want to do. That's fine with me," the actor added.

Costner appeared on SiriusXM’s 'The Michael Smerconish Program' on November 11 and revealed his "perfectly honest" reaction to the tragic death of his character, John Dutton.

He said, "I'm going to be perfectly honest. I didn't know it was actually airing last night. That's a swear to god moment. I've been seeing ads with my face all over the place and I'm thinking, ‘Gee, I'm not in that one.’ But I didn't realize yesterday was the thing."

Kelly Reilly teases 'Yellowstone' Season 5 finale

During Kelly Reilly's interview with 'Town & Country', the actress said, "When people see the ending of this season, there may be an understanding that there is a new beginning, potentially, as well."

She continued, "It could end perfectly where it is, or the new beginning is something that's intrinsically part of this ending. Both would be beautiful, I have no attachment to either one of them."

Cole Hauser said he and Reilly would want to continue exploring the stories of their characters. He told the outlet, "You can go on forever about these two. There are no walls when it comes to them, no limits. As long as Taylor wants to write something special, I know Kelly and I would be interested to do it."
